TBF, I think Kerry are standing by the principles that the don't tolerate such behavior.

Unfortunately there are idiots out there who bring racism and people's colour into the discussion. That shouldn't be tolerated.

Absolutely stand by principles, that's fine, but the wording of the statement was completely bizzare.

Where has DMG signed from by Cobh as hes being keepin quiet these days until now?!

He went to Australia after Cork let him go a couple years back.
I like how Cobh said he was a key member of Cork's 2022 title even though he was injured most that season and they had it wrapped up by the time he was back lol

JDH will be a big loss. Super player.

Francely one is a bit odd. Great option off the bench for the last half hour even if no one including himself knows what he is going to do.

Sligo Rovers look likely to lose two key players with midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes and striker Francely Lomboto set for a Showgrounds exit.
Midfielder Doyle-Hayes, who joined the Bit O’Red in February after being released by Hibernian, looks likely to join League One side Exeter after Gary Caldwell’s side activated his release clause. It is understood a previous approach for the Cavan native was turned down.

Striker Francely Lomboto is set for a Rovers exit too, with the former Galway man about to join NIFL Premiership side Glenavon.

The Harkin signing makes more sense now with Doyle-Hayes leaving. I thought it was strange he was leaving Derry's bench for the Sligo one.

But you must remember in the League of Ireland, a player must participate in at least five league matches to be guaranteed a winner's medal. The club can also choose to distribute the remaining medals to other squad members or staff, even if they haven't reached the minimum appearance threshold.

Moydow said "I like how Cobh said he was a key member of Cork's 2022 title" (my emphasis)

Playing five games doesn't make you a key member

I doubt Dylan is worried as the records will show he won the league with Cork City on his CV!

Brighton / Dundalk have officially confirmed the transfer of Sean Keogh, left full. No mention on the fee but seems to be around 200-250k.

More important will be if they have managed any % sell on / or adds ons for appearances, Ireland cap etc.

Seemingly its a record transfer for Dundalk, almost all who left under SK era left at end of contract and for €0, who went to UK, Boyle, Horgan, Towell, McMillan, McEleney (for 6 months !), Hoban, only transfer fee in that era I can recall was Dylan Connolly, 40k to Wimbledon.

Good opportunity for Keogh, but would be thinking they will loan him out for games.

He was training with Dundalk in July, played 1 or 2 friendly's I think, Kilduff passed on signing him, not sure was it his preference didn't rate him, or wages.

Quite. But that's not the point Moydow was making.

Justin Ferezaj to Bray is some comedown for the expectations he & his connections had for him. Will get game time which will serve him well but curious what his celiing is now

I'm open to correction on this, but I'm led to believe that young Justin has always had his da in his ear instructing him on where to go and who to listen to/ignore, a bit like one of those tennis parents you'd hear about sometimes 😨.
He is/was some talent, but Bray wouldn't have been in my bingo card for his career let's put it that way!

Some impressive attacking signings for Bray. They will be a force to be reckoned with.

Hopefully they don't catch Dundalk...

And even if it is miles away, a Bray vs Galway (on current form) would at least seem competitive in the play-offs.

Is or was his younger brother at bray? Could be the family now know and trust the coaching staff to get the best out of Justin? Especially if there's a helicopter parent aspect to it.

Yeah, Richard is there. Still, Paul Pogba's brother is playing in the Belgian third tier; doesn't mean that's a good move for Paul himself!

His younger brother is at Bray & was in the team until he spent a week on trial at Dinamo in Croatia, seems to have been a sub since. Still very young so maybe coincidence & no big deal being a sub, but given his father's track record I had wondered were the family overreaching again

Well I think Paul's brother tried to blackmail him so they might not be on the best of terms.

On Ferizaj there's the possibility that he could go to a premier division club and not get any minutes because all teams are now mid season (obviously) and full time so there is an expectation of high fitness levels before you get a chance. There aren't many games left so there could be a bigger possibility of playing regular minutes in the first division where there are still part time teams and then look for a move to the premier or abroad over the winter.

Different brother.

That said, it was Mathias I was originally thinking of (because I saw him playing for Crawley years ago) and saw he was in jail, so used another brother just for my hypothetical answer. Didn't realise Mathias was sentenced for trying to get €13m out of his little brother with a gun though (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5y452223l0o)! What a scumbag.

Yeah mad situation I also vaguely remember reading about Paul being cursed or trying to get someone cursed by a witch doctor. Suffice to say I don't think Kerry will be in the running to sign any of the Pogbas. That sort of thing wouldn't be in line with the values of the club

There was another story about Pogba getting a curse put on United as he was leaving. Obviously no truth to that one given how well they've been doing.

Pats have signed Jamaican Jordon Garrick who was last with Forest Green Rovers. Hard to know how he’ll turn out but he’s made over 130 appearances mainly in League One, with some in the Championship, League Two and National League also. He plays on the left or up front apparently which is an area that needed another body in after Elbouzedi and Keena picking up long term injuries in the games against Nomme Kalju

What happened with DC with his retirement?

Got injured this season at Harps, was going to be out for a while, so he was released, as he was probably stepping away in the summer anyway due to travel commitments and such becoming too much for him.

Presumably nobody else took a punt on him more local to him, so he's stepped down altogether. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the third tier with Mayo next year though. He could still do that on amateur forms without affecting any retirement financials

Knowing the audacity of their owner I wouldn't put it past Black Forge FC making an application to the LOI 3rd tier signing up ex-LOI talent with the calibre of Boccer Bayly, Keith Quinn and Eddie Van Boxtel

The first 2 are actually playing for them going by FAI Connect!

Sidenote, but those 2 lads played for De Town, I wonder could we make an XI of ex Town lads who have been in bother with the law. Colm James and Joe Gorman are another 2 that come to mind

We have 1 in our current squad who's had a brush with the law before too, so that's the 5 a side team sorted at least...

Best wishes to Ollie. JC was really struggling before Ollie came on board, our run of bad form over the past few months coincided with him stepping away for treatment.
Jon Daly seems like a decent fella to have as assistant manager, though I don't know a whole lot about him. Anyone with an opinion on him?

Just listening to OTB live now and Shane Keegan rates Jon Daly very highly as a coach.

Hope Ollie returns to good health soon, he’s one of the brilliant characters that makes the LOI what it is. Jon Daly is a classy individual and a good coach too, a good choice by Caulfield/Galway

All the best Ollie. I was wondering the other day what John Daly was up to. Think he got a mention on a podcast last week and it got me thinking.
