pike won 3nil

balla lost 5-3 earls got sent off for punching galvin heard he had 2be brought 2 hospidal straight away lost a couple of teeth if the pike keeper got 3mths earls must get the same if not more maybe cusack might do balla another favour:D

Was at the Regional v Balla game yesterday it was an absolute disgrace what earls did. I hope they throw the book at him. Ban him for the rest of the season. Also Galvin has every right to bring him to court for that as I think he damaged his teeth awell.

surley he must get more. bennis gets 3 months for rubbing heads with a player and kicking the ball out of the ground.
Knocking somebodys teeth is a much more serious act. I reckon he should get the rest of the season otherwise the LDMC would be condoning acts like that !!

Was also at this game, have never seen anything as bad on a football pitch in my life! Danny ended up loosing a tooth an two others are backed up in his mouth, he'll be out for a while i'd say and will be costly to fix
Balla just couldn't accept they were beaten and were jumping into tackles the whole game and then had the audacity to blame Frank O' Neill for what Earls did!!
Fair play to Regional who just played football and didn't get involved with the Balla circus

Ur talking rubbish no balla player condoned what earls did or blamed the ref!

what the balla players were complaining about to the ref was that regional were stopping balla from taking quick free kicks, throws etc.,
balla would have done the same if the scores were reversed but the point was the ref was letting regional get away with this and that infuriated the balla players

but i don't think this was the reason for earls' actions and again no balla player condoned it

I heard and saw three Balla players say "thats your fault Frank" after earls hit Galvin

what happened that caused this ? was it a bad tackle on earls ? off the ball ?? or just a full force punch straight on ?

What i saw was Balla wanted to take a quick free, the left back kicked it off a Regional player, the ref did nothing, Balla took the free, went into the box the keeper came and caught it, when he was on the ground he was kicked by earls, galvin got i between earls and the keeper and as he was walking away got punched in the face, don't think it was straight on as it caught him off guard, that is what i saw

you managed to hear 3 players say "its your fault frank" but didnt hear or see exactly wat happened??
galvin said "go away earls you scumbag" wasnt walkin away when he got punched either. dont get me wrong he should never of got punched in the first place

I'm just saying what i heard and saw, maybe galvin did say something, i didn't hear it, hard to hear when your not in the middle of it, but was easy to hear the Balla players screaming at Frank O Neill and i wasn't the only one who heard them.

C'mon lads, dont you all know what a bunch of saint's the balla boys are! you cant be offending them by calling them names...spoke to one regional player yesterday and he couldn't belive the carry on of the balla boys, same player had stud marks on his chest after been stood on by one of the balla boys

Balla were always the same. If they are losing they have one or two players that will lose their heads at the slighest of things. Discipline was never their strongest point.

Earls should be looking at a long suspension and thats not going to help Ballas cause in the league. At the end of it he has only hurt his own team more than Regional.

as I said previoulsy im not conny. im not going to bother to deny it anymore after this though

not sure about the lads. we have a big squad so well prob lose a few before they get tied up in in fai and munster junior.

mcgarry will be tied up as well id say with the gaa for another few weeks

was anyone at the star / aisling game

Star dominated the whole game from start to finish, and had about 75% of the possesion, we had roughly 15 shots (around 8 on target), where as Aisling had 2 efforts in the whole game, one header off target and their goal which was going wide only for one of our players to deflect it in.

We should and could have been 2 or 3 up at HT but couldnt score, and did eventually score with about 5mins to go.

We then conceeded a goal (OG) 3mins into injury time, and Aisling would have been more than happy with a point, but we were robbed.

Thats the Prem I suppose.

its true i heard from the horses mouth as they say forms signed and all two very good signings for carew.

i was also at the balla v regional game and what i saw was a disgrace alan morton can back me on this the two star lads who got banned for six months for a bit of pushing and shoving well if they got six months for that earls should get 3 years for what he did. he knocked out 3 teeth he should get a year for each tooth there is no need for that in a game of soccer cant take there beaten AGAIN. and to make it worse danny did not even see it coming a sneaky one from the side as he was starting to jog back up the field.

skinner is a child always cribbing when hes taking off never trains so i say pike are rid of him corbett got on think he got a job in dell the weekends so he would find it hard get on pike

Yep, John Barry & Derek Hannon both got 6month bans last season, for just going head to head, and then just pushing each other away from one another, NO PUNCHES, NO HEADBUTS, NO KICKING, and they got 6months.

I dont know exactly what happened between Galvin and Earls, but all I can say is that I know Danny very well for a long time, and he is not the type of player that gets invloved in these kind of situations.

We play them Sunday, they are hardly available for that game are they? I think it takes a full week for a transfer, not sure?? anyone advise

cant agree with you there! it is still a work in progress.. spoke to granville guy about today..main pitch was redone aftre 1st match of season.. thats why it was rough. regionals pitch was way worse when we played there earlier this season. haven't seen the cabbage patch yet , has to be worse pitch again...

Wasnt their suspensions down to referees report. He put in a very bad report against the two players.

So I guess it will all depend on what the referee writes in his report about the incident.

And Bateman park has to be the worst pitch in hte league.

If the ldmc are to punish the balla player in question, i think they should hand down the toughest suspension thats possible...Now we all know that there is a member on the board of LDMC who's a staunch balla man and it will be interesting to see what comes of this.
If he is to get off lightly with a couple of games, i bet there will a lot of un ease between the players that have been handed long stints on the sideline and the LDMC board.. Both the stars lads and pikes Ian Bennis will be waiting to see what comes of it.. Does anyone know when bennis is back or will he be back?:confused:
