very naive out of you mate - any manger worth his salt has rang as many players as possible during the off season.

Do you think players turn up at the gates of clubs with their boots over their shoulder looking for a game :)

ya im wembley alright. im not giving out about him ringing players im just trying to highlight that if you remember years back when wembley were thrown out for it.

i know that there is nothing wrong with him ringing players cause no one is signed for anyone at the moment.

also only last year, wembley tried to set up an under 13 team but were told that they would have to produce proof of where they got all there players.

just seems like one rule for 1 club and another rule for another.

Big difference between doing in the close season and doing it during the season when players are signed to a club.

Corbally have a number of new faces trainin Ronan Sherlock (Boro), Martin Wallace (Dines), David Owens (Wembly), Antoin Manning (UL), Dainis Bokans (Pike), Johnny Mac (Regional) and Ger O Connell ( played under Pa Mul at Pike before he went travellin)

I've seen from the L37 website that their under 21's last league fixture is at the end of October and depending on how well they do they could be playing until the end of November. I take it then that the L37 21's wont be back playing junior football until November, is this true???

there is a difference between schoolboy and junior in this regard, young lads being offered bikes and boots etc both during the season and the summer is the reason wembley were thrown out, children can be easily influenced by something like that while adults normally wouldn't be, except keith hartnett!!

ya but they can get a transfer if they want before the season ends. so they can come back for the start of the junior season or any time afterwards.

Manning and Owens are much better players than him. Sherlock is strong and fit but these can play football. I wouldnt write off O Connell

yes u are correct there...a few are away on hols + others working....Playing against avenue on tues in ennis,...We should have a full team for that!!

owens is a good player,but he hasnt played much of late,think he missed half of last season so the book is still out on him id say regarding how good he is as a junior player.ur man wallace isnt up to much,wouldnt see him strengthening many of the prem teams around.bokans is about 16 stone i hear.id say hed hardly get thru a game not to mind influence one.o connell is fit and a good ball player,id say hed be a good signing for corbally.he was good when he was with pike.ur man mannering(think he was with limerick fc before).is that who you mean by manning?i reckon if corbally sign owens,sherlockand gerry o connell that they are 3 good signings that would really strengthen there team.After all youd be getting 2 premier league winners and a youth fai winner if im not mistaken.i wouldnt half mind that if i was a manager and i doubt theres many out there who wouldnt either.Has anybody got any info on what players boro,balla and regional have signed?they all seem very quite in the transfer market.

Yep have to agree there with u no point in changing things if the manager

In fairness there is a bit of a difference between 1A and premier, the game is faster and players are generally fitter. Saying that its not that big an ask for Summerville to stay in the league, best of luck.

carew have a very young team this season 7 players under 22 four of them under 20 some very good fast young footballers. alan boyce of balla james deegan robert micthell just to name a few.

with all the rumours going around which is to be expected every summer i suppose mike carey johnny corbett have signed. alan boyce is a fantastic young footballer im sure any of the balla lads would agree with me there.
