[QUOTE=barryk;718529]Is Jason O'Connor taking over at Aisling. If so where is Ian Sullivan going?
That’s something only Sully can answer, if you can find him. He has been missing for the last month. Possible sightings include:
Getting married in Rome – highly unlikely
Serving beans at Billy Bobs Wild West Show – Disneyland Paris?
Midget tossing - Topeka, Kansas, could be true, he did talk a lot of Reese Lang the current record holder with a throw of 15 feet 2 inches.
Crop circling in Leitrim – that’s my bet.

wow!!!!! , 2 balla subs and a 1a player and who is paul dillon? Boro should have an even bigger squad of average players for next season well done shane.

13/07/2007, 12:44 PM
"average" players win league & lawson...beaten in final of division cup, beaten in open draw stage of fai(last 32 i think) and lost locally in mfa...might have been an average season for Star(80's) or Fairview(90's) in their peak, but not by recent standards.. what does that make the rest of the players in the premier...? below average... i think that you are being unfair to both the boro players and to the rest of the players in the league..

is that paul dillon who went cross channel from gearldines as a school boy
maestro

I didnt say all 'boros players are average just the majority. Munster Juniors and FAI's are for the top teams , leagues are won by fixture secretarys , explain to me why Pike and the 'boro didnt play their final league games on the same evening? Does anybody agree that this decision was biased how can this be allowed to happen!!!

Biased towards whom? If you think the the F/S won the league for the boro you really know nothing about the politics of LDMC...dont start me with fixtures....and the fella fixing them . if you recall at the start of last season a new regime puplished the 1 st half of the fixtures for everybody to see. Now by chance that regime was removed, at about the 2/3 rds stage, at the behest of the pike chairman amomg others. F/s then proceeded to make fixtures as he saw fit...if you want to talk fixtures... the boro had no match for a 5 week period even though their pitch was playable, F/S the gave boro 3 matches in 5 days.... same thing probably happened to most clubs.
does that mean that in your opinion all the premier leagues in the last 10 years (incl pike)were won by the f/s?

Yea , the Pike chairman was so cunning towards pike that he fixed the fixtures so that Pike had to play Carew(H) , Fairview(A) and Balla(A) in their last 3 games and then at the eleventh hour allowed boro to change their last game to the night after pikes last game!!!!!!!! Biased my @*%£

full of crap as usual spoutin on about givin limerick a 25 year lease in pike if he was any good he would have made it work up thereinstead of charging the fans an entrance fee to the clubhouse to use the toilets and buy a cup of tea after they baught a ticket in he will do his best to **** up this arrangement too and nice to see they are finaly admitting it was a takeover of the league organised by pike and fairview

gets your facts right boro's final match was fixed for a thursday night, the same as nearly all of mid-week premier matches all season..boro did not request or change that fixture.. why did pike not play their final match on a thursday...... maybe your chairman will now realize that he along with the ex-view chairman were used by the F/s to put him back in charge.. Pike got what they deserved.... The league table never lies....and finally the pike chairman has done unbelievable work for his club, and that is to be applauded, but he will destroy the situation now in place with limerick football and jackmann... all because pike did not get the monies promised when limk were above in the pike . to develope the pike grounds...

think pikes game against us was on a wed cos there agm was on the thurs night?
reality check
14/07/2007, 10:46 PM
to all concerned,FACT-ldmc chairman and f/s told boro that pike game had been brought back one night because of PIKES agm and boro had two choices 1-play as fixed on the thur night or 2-wait till the following wk.p.s.since the boro are so good at FIXING fixtures maybe next season they might set up the munster junior and fai

surely with pa mul at the helm corbally will be attracting players aswell as holding onto the players from last year.
reality check
16/07/2007, 11:04 AM
barry ryan has been asked to play and get involved with training the boro, think he would be very good for them, but he hasnt confirmed anything yet as he has other commitments at present that need to be tied up,but he would be very welcome at the boro when things are right for him.

16/07/2007, 11:09 AM
cratloe is still being used, but to different degrees, depends on where fitness is from last year, long season for some clubs-not much cratloe needed,if youve had a short season cratloe would be good for a couple of wks.
