The FAI Junior council should be Thrown out on their arses. This is a disgrace and would happen nowhere else in the world.I honestly can't believe that they are the powers that be and they are responsible for creating this who mess. FAI Junior council what a Farce !!!! :mad:

the fai cleared carew of any wrong doing by not removing them from competition . if carew are wrong throw them out otherwise for once the fai must hold there hands up and admit the are at fault.this farce started lst year when fairview were twice removed from this trophy and twice reinstated

I think all of limerick should get behind carew and make sure they beat wesport in the final...Only worry would be if for some reason that carew went bhind in the game i would fear a few of them would lose the head and there would be trouble then...Don't think the fai know what they MIGHT be gettingt themselves into if this happens..
On a more domestic front it looks like we are relegated...Ah well...No harm at least we may win a few games in 1a next year ha ha!!!

The context out of all this that there are no winners. The biggest loser from all these events is the FAI Junior Council. As far as the "rematch" is concerned, may the best team win and hope that everyone enjoys the football and cheer their particular team on.

thats what i am saying thunderblaster in my last post...the thing is if carew go behind in this game they could just lose the heads because of the circumstances of the way the game had to be replayed and it could get pretty messy...we will have to se how it progress's...any ideas of where and when the replay is on........asuming carew don't win there appeal!!!

What a load of crap about Pike reporting to Westport and having them train up there as well. True for you Magic Man, crap like this usually comes out of the Steering wheel.
You slat Pike most of the time because the truth is, Pike are the best Team in Limerick. 1 stupid little rumour and it spreads like wild fire.
If Carew are any good they'll beat Westport next Monday in Jackman park.
They'll have full support of all Limerick clubs (including Pike).

Pike didn't get them into any trouble, don't be so gullible to believe rumours spread by such small minded and bitter people, end of story, pike must be sick and tired of helping other clubs and getting nothing back but abuse

ok fair play to pike they gave the us of their pitch but they got well paid for it - the county concil paid for abbey and gate receipts from balla and carew games in the past paid for them - anytime fairview gave there pitch they didn't ask for a penny off the clubs
