Pike are the most hated club in town & is it any wonder when you have clowns like Declan Considine or should I say Marketsfield coming on here bad mouthing other clubs especially after what Pike did to Carew.

Lim abraod or should I say Ronan Hanrahan - a class centre half , still laughing at that 1 Conny, nice guy but he won't be missed on the football pitch as he isn't related to a soccer player

as for conny he's more caps then any other limerick player I know of, 20 odd in fact. You don't get that many without being a good player. He probably is the most hated player in town, but thats because he's so hard to play against. As for Ronan Hanrahan, he knows his own limits but always plays to his strenghts, and like conny you can't achieve what he has without being a good player.

Roll on the hoops, carew and balla to loose, and we'll meet up in Rashers for a few socialables, we might even let ye drink out of the cup

i'm just stating what the vast majority of non pike people feel about them.
there's nothing bitter about that.
football is about winning trophies granted, but thats not what its all about,there are plenty more things to winning trophies in football.
when the likes of considines career is well gone(which isn't too long away),how many ex players will he be able to sit down with and have a pint and discuss playing days,past matches etc.
i think you probably will count them on one hand where as a popular player like for example kevin macarthy or pat boland could sit down with anyone !

Pike v Balla game on sunday will be a cracker. Big field and two good footballing teams. Think this one is alot different from the other 3 games pike beat balla in.... think robert earls might be suspended for it though. Big loss for us if he is.

The bottom is very tight with Hyde, Star and Croom all in contention for the final relegation spot. Croom V Star could be an interesting final game next Thursday night, would be a great shame to see Star Rvs relegated from 1A.
