Openly and repeatedly went out of his way to threaten him?! In fairness, Shorty has been a bit loose in his tackles recently, but I'm not sure how you make that out. Though I was the far end of the stand.

Interesting you don't comment on the Bohs lad who dug his knee into Darren Meenan's back as he was on the ground. These things come and go. That's not to defend them, but there's no point getting continually and one-sidedly worked up whenever something physical happens in football.

It was great that RTÉ managed to pick the most entertaining Bray match this year to cover.Out of interest, how many games have ye had televised this year? Too many anyway imo, although last night's game was good.

I understand your point, and generally I agree. But this chap's behaviour was simply thuggish, and beyond what one should have to pay to see in a football match. That's why I commented on it.

Em AFAIK...

Galway home
Galway away (Cup QF)
Bohs away (only picked because Bohs could've won the league that night)
Cobh home (I'd say it was only picked because it was a relegation battle)

Don't think that's too much.

Athlone beating the Youths 1-0.

sligo win 2 1 with a very depleted team. we cant afford to be down 3 first teamers. brush was superb in the goals. harsh result on shams. they deserved a draw

Thrilling second half in the battle of the rovers.
Few dodgy decisions will be the talking piont.
First time this season i can say the luck tilted in our favour.
Great atmosphere. Great Crowd.

I get tired of Bohs fans trying to highlight UCD players when you have caused UCD alot of damge.

You use the word Thuggish. Harpal Singh was on the pitch approx. 30 mins. I saw nothing to warant that word towards Shorthall.

Who was the Bohs player who chose to feign injury ( similation, threathening a fellow player with a yellow card.) in front of your fans in the second half.

Jason Byrne chose the go full plet, two-footed, studs up, into one of our players late in the game. Because he can, he's Jason Byrne and Bohs. Luckily our midfielder was too quick for him.

I never accept criticism of UCD players from Bohs fans after that ignorant player Avery John ended Peter Hanrahan's career in a cup match at Dalymount.
Because he could, he's Avery John..... and Bohs.

Reasons why one shouldn't post on a forum while drunk. :D

Sounds like Jay O'Shea had another fine game, if Holmes makes mistakes like he did the last time in galway O'Shea could score 2 or 3 against Harps next week :(

Very easy for Derry tonight, O'Shea Lester and Russell were the only Galway players to come away with any credit.
Dodgy penalty too, the foul was outside the box although a def foul.
Derry never got out of 2nd gear.
More Harps fans there than Galway though :p
I never thought Id see the day when we had over 20 fans there supporting Derry
Should be an interesting game never Friday in Terryland.

Some pressure on Galway now.

Lose to Harps on Friday night and they are down.

Not the greatest game ever at a rather more subdued Brandywell than usual. McGinn's goal was great though, both teams hit the crossbar and we got a missed penalty.

Might be more of a reflection on my desperate need to feel accepted by LOI fans because of my gender than Stu's manners!

Amazingly it's still in our own hands.
If we beat Harps and UCD we stay up unless Cobh win both their game by about 10 goals.

It's winner takes all on Friday.A loss last night might just get the lads on their toes again.
