agree, kilmallock are definitly strong favourites for the league but if they do hit a blip there are teams capable of catching them.
Looks like balla won't be playing for another 3 weeks fromt it says on the premier thread.
Their a team has munster junior and fai in the next two weekends, that means they will probably be around 3 months without a game.
I would fancy them to fall away over that and the fact that the teams artound them are still winning

Don't know about that mulla...Balla have a pretty good couch behind them and a pretty good bunch of lads who are training 2 times a week...I know they may not have had many games but the interest is still there..A lot will be said after they get there 1st game played and we'll see what the result will be!!!

obviously they can't be ruled out as they do have a strong side and are training hard but as you know yourself there is a big difference between training and actual match practice and the fact is whoever they play next will have a few games under there belts whereas it will be like starting the season again for balla

Well they didnt start the league too bad last summer! Most teams have only 1 possible 2 games played in the last 10 weeks. All be a bit rusty I think.

Mungret 4 - 1 Hill Celtic

good win yesterday for mungret, i wrote them off against charleville but they hammered them and a good result yesterday against hill. Player manager vinnie naughton is working wonders with mungret who had an awlful start to the season. Dromore had a great win against shannon as well. its all up for grabs! H'town and Hill are now out of the race, its between kilmallock, mungret, Dromore and Balla.

I don't think mungret are certs to go up, they still have to play balla, dromore and killmallock, they will need all 9points out of those 3games in order to get promoted!! its all well and good beating charleville and caherdavin who are at the bottom of the league, mungrets real test will come against balla, dromore and kilmallock!

Another win for Dromore and mungret, dromore winning by a goal but mungret once again hammering bruff, like they have done with the last few teams. how come mungret seem to be doing this to every team that they come up against. what is behind mungret success in the last few months?

This mungret team seem to be on some sort of a mission at the moment.Apart from the fact that bruff were down a few bodies yesterday due to suspensions and injuries mungret seemed to be strong in every position and looked like as if they had plenty to spare on the sideline .Bruff will keeping plugging away and could sneak a cup yet this season.

Mungret were always a good team will quality players, it was just a matter of bringing together in the right way and getting them to play as a proper team. There is a good team spirit there in the team and everyone gets along with eachother so that is always a good thing to have.:D

Mungret are playing well against (as i have said a lot of times on this post)very average teams, but fair play to them you can only beat what is put on front of you,as for the quote by dallas, they were a very good team a few years back, last few years they have only been average as positions in the leagues have shown.Have seen them once this year and they were beaten in that match but they wern't a bad side. They have quality in there striker who always looks dangerous other than that I'll wait till the end of the season to start singing threr praises too much

I agree, keith mcnicholas has been playing well along side that big fella up front. I think they have over 30goals between them. Mungret have really seemed to get their act together in the last few months. Their team is strong all-over. They had about 7 on the bench on sunday, but i suppose that is the way it is with teams that are winning consistently, everyone wants to get onto the first 11. I do hope mungret get promoted this year, but balla and kilmallock will have to slip up first. Don't know if that is going to happen.
