Who's going up and down from this division mate? In your opinion.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
It's fairly simple stats, and it gives all teams in the division a better idea of what they have to do in order to get promotion or escape relegation etc;;
Thanks anyway.

its almost impossible to call, even this weekend balla and kilmallock has easy enough fixtures. if balla and kilmallock kept going the way they were before x-mas, i would say balla and killmallock will go up but you just never know. the top four teams still have to play each other, it will come down to those games.

people are askin for opinions and i'm giving one, bear in mind there are ten games to go for some teams.I'm not writing anyone off,I would change from balla to kilmallock depending on how the first few games of the second half of the season go for them.I am also not writing off dromore celtics chances as them and mungret are the form teams at the minute
To be honest at this stage it is impossible to pick two for promotion.even outside the 4 that are mentioned there are still 1 or 2 more hangin in there waitin for someone to slip up

A few people tipping Balla to go up. Has that situation actually been sorted out? Is it known if they can definitly go up if they finish in the top 2?

Anyway Im going for Kilmallock and Mungret.

Mungret are in great form and seem to be getting stronger.

I have seen killmallock and they look a really good side. Although they could lose numbers when the GAA season gets going. Anyone know if they would lose many players, if any to GAA.

Somebody posted here recently that they can be promoted, and if so then Balla A and B play each other in the first two fixtures of the season.

Handy 6pts for Balla "A" if it does happen.

If Balla "B" do get promoted, then whats stopping some of the better Balla "A" team signing "B" forms,

And when they play each other then those guys play with "A" team, and when the "B" team are up against the top dogs, they could play with "B" team, to try and stop the top teams from getting maximum points from Balla "B".!!!!!!

Surely the LDMC would have to bring in a rule that stops Balla's B players being able to play for their A team in the league. It would be a ludicrous situation if a player could play for 2 teams in the same league.

Totally agree, it would be crazy to allow players from balla "A" and Balla "B" movement between the two if they are in the same division!! that should never happen. Having balla A Balla B in the same division anyway is mental!!!

to be honest I think any of the 4 teams would struggle badly with the squads they have now, none of them are a patch on teams that have went up in previous years and with the exception of a few(Wembley,A/A,possibly Corbally)we all know how they've struggled,
I think it would be down to which team attracts the better player during the summer and I have to say I think that would be Balla, thats not a biased opinion i just think that players would maybe join the B team with a view to making the A team and even by signing B they would still have premier football

Balla-B can go up but their 1st 2 games would be against Balla-A.Kilmallock won't be losing any players to the hurling this year.

Sorry to disappoint you Hoops but the opposite is true. There is a rule in place to ensure it does happen. Goes back to the days of a strong Geraldines B team that won Div 1A a couple of seasons running. The ammendedment has never been changed so Balla B will be promoted if they finish in top two.
Check ammendedments to the rule book with LDMC.

Doubt any manager worth their salt would let that happen as it would undermine them from the off nd who is going to sign a form for a B team
under those terms as they would be the 1's training week in week out then only to be dropped when the "A PLAYERS" return as far as i know none of the present balla b team were on the squad for the FAI etc so they look like their running seperate from each other but i'm open to correction off anyone invovled with balla
