Good result again from mungret last night for a team that have not lost in the league since early september it will be tough on them not to get promoted.I'm hoping caherdavin will put in an honest performance tomorrow night against dramore a play off between mungret and dramore would be a great finale to the season.

If that were to happen Balla should be fined or some form of punishment handed out. They couldnt give a walk over to a team in a tight relegation battle.

Have to admire Charleville, getting the Balla game called off so many times, now at a stage where Balla don't even want to play the fixture and even if they do will probably have a thrown together team as they have nothing to play for. Looks good for Charleville and makes things very interesting at the bottom.

I really do think that all last 2/3 games of the season for each team should be played at the same time on the same day (as in professional football), as it would make for a lot more excitment and fairer playing field for all).

Cup fixtures are being set for some clubs when other clubs are playing league fixtures ect.

In my opinion league fixtures should be a priority and try and play as many cup games (local cups) in midweek (start and end of season).

Be interesting to see what kind of a side Balla put out against Bruff with the cup final so close. Think Balla deserve something out of the year they have had and good showing in the league so best of luck to them against Dines.

I would have to agree with mulla here.To be brutally honest i think balla have a good reason for going out to beat charleville and that would be to try and relagate them so they won't have to travel out there next year...Makes sense to me anyways!!!

Spare a thought for the country clubs who have to travel the distance for EVERY away game..........City teams only have to do it now and again for away games.

Congrats to dromore tonight! A lot of people saying ye had a lucky season but the table speaks for itself! If you finish second you deserve to be there. I do feel that ye will need a few bodies to get on well next season but the very best of luck. Hopefully ye will stay up and have another successful.

Well done to killmallock also this season. Again the table speaks for itself. The best and most consistent team in the league this year. Got off to a good start nobody could touch ye! And if ye played the way ye did against us ye sshould have a great year next year. Best of luck to ye!

well done to dromore and kilmallock on promotion... well deserved
unlucky to the rest of the teams who genuinely challenged for the league this season..
balla and dromore pushed kilmallock as best they could..
the rest have a lot of work to do to even be competitive next year..
with balla being the only strong side left in 1a next year, the relegation battle could be fierce - the likes of geraldines, mungret, bruff could be in real trouble next year

again, big congrats to kilmallock and dromore..

so u see mungret who are unbeaten since september(and who many people involved in 1a football believe to be a better team than dromore) going from almost gettin promoted to relegation contenders? as for bruff...i'd be suprised if they didn't get relegated this year as things stand...and the dines, dependin on holding onto the majority of our players, we'll be lookin to push for promotion next year...the whole comment is a farce? balla and dromore pushed kilmallock as best they could? wat bout mungret? i think u should take a look at the league table again bud

well done to dromore and Kilmallock and hope ye both do well next year,as for what is said above its a pity we couldn't have been as consistent as the teams above us and some below us in the second half of the season. For me Mungret were the form team from christmas on,having said that the league starts in august or september so next year they will know a good start does you the world of good.
All the stuff that is being said about dromore not being good enough is not on
you make your own luck over the course of the season and they beat whoever they beat fair and square.
Next season should be good, good teams have come from the divisions above and below us and of the teams that stay in the league I would think mungret will be contenders,if the dines get a bit more experience they will be too, hopefully we will replicate our form from the start of the season next year and not the form that we've shown recently.
Again congrats to both teams who went up,well deserved
