Kilreen v kilumney was a cracker last. Kilreen were too quick off the mark early on with kilumneys young right full being done time and again. Kilreen played lovely ball but looks as if they ran out of steam late on and understandably so with being down to 10. Weren't the same team without Murray. Johnathan Murphy is a great player in the middle. Where's his partner of last year gone? Willie something was it?
On kilumney, great fight shown. Kearney held it together for them I felt and when he went up top was not going to be stopped getting something from the game. Excellent player. Gary comerford was unbelievable aswell and throws also a threat.
Role reversal with Kearney up front and skilly centre half Sunday?

Will Aherne is playing with Everton. Trevor Dunlea now plays CM with Kilreen and hes a great player! I called it a few pages back that the street kilreen final will throw up some interesting 1V1's
Also John Murphy is a class act and no senior team would turn him down in my opinion! Makes things look so easy and allways finds time and space on the ball!!

fair play to them ye just had a bit of wobble yer selfs donnie a few week back other wise ye would have push them right up til the end of games

I wouldn't say a wobble. We were lucky to even field a team for a good few weeks. At one stage we had 6 centre backs out injured plus more missing with work and injury. We just had a run of terrible luck but that's no excuse. Park are the best team I have seen this year and fully deserve the title.

To be fair both Kilreen and Blarney Street are having a good season . Let the best team win hopefully be a good game but as must players know cup finals can often be poor due to nerves pressure etc players not trying things as they don't want to make mistakes . Both teams will capable of playing football have played against both teams twice this year and lost . Without naming players their are some top class players on both sides .

By my table it is still all to play for for all 3 teams... Park have 1 game left v Killumney a win wins the league for Park. A draw means Kilreen can finish level on points with their 3 games left. A win for Killumney would mean that the title would probably be decided by the result between Killumney & Kilreen so still a lot to play for!!!
Park 1 game - Killumney
Kilreen 3 games - Blarney St., Killumney & Coachford
Killumney 4 games - Park, Kilreen, Innishvilla & Pearse

Presuming the top 3 pick up more points, thats some difference between 3rd and the teams below. Teams realising there safe and cant win the league just give up in my opinion. It's not right. What happened to playing for a bit of pride?

To be fair to kinsale they were involved in cup runs for the first few months of the season. The problem was that the aul gave them all the games in hand at the very end of the season when bar one or two teams had nothing to play for and some players would not make an effort to get off work to travel all the way down there. Kinsale we're not complaining but a lot of other clubs were furious with the aul so I would not be blaming kinsale. A league is a league at the end of the day

Huge game, a win for Knocka will see them in the playoffs for promotion. Greenwood win then Knocka are relying on Greenwood to lose to get a playoff with Greenwood to get into the playoffs. Congrats to Glenthorn too on winning the league, Not fully deserved but sure there you go...

To be honest you look at most leagues and at the end you will see 2-4 teams with a gap back to the middle of the pack. That is just the way leagues run. Premier/Prem A/ AUL 1/AUL 2A/AUL 3/AUL 3A all have finished up with similar situations. I think it highlights that the top few have had good runs and all the other sides have been taking points off each other... Alright maybe a team will take the foot off - training will not have the same tempo - ripples into the game especially in the last 20 when the top teams find that extra bit.
An example - Innishvilla are relegated - have been down there all season, but have only once lost one game by more than 2 goals, a 3:0 loss to greenwood. To date the top 3 have won all their games v Innishvilla but there were no blowouts. Springfield finished bottom - they had only one blowout all season and that was in the relegation battle with Innish. They took points off Kilreen twice.
Glen, coachford, Blarney St & Greenwood have all had their moments this season - but the best three have pulled away. Pearse - they did fall apart but that had been well discussed on here...
