went up to greenwood game they were 2 up inside 20 mins and cruising then proceeded to throw it away letting fairview back to lead 3 2 at half time with timmy sheehan giving the full back an awful runaround second half the ref who loves to be the centre of attention booked joe ryan for a dive in the box when it was a blatant penalty ok he made it look theatrical but it was a spotter right in front of me he was itching to book him imo fairview tired towards the end and greenwood equalised through poo dunlea no real chances et and bad peno wide to lose it for greenwood

Any updates on the Aul game tonight? Hopefully an improvement from last week, did Donal have a full squad available tonight?

Shocking start , were 3 down after 15/20 mins keeper in the horrors !!! Got 1 back before half time , made decent changes at half time especially coakley who clamped down on city's play maker in the middle !! Left at 4-1 , keeper beaten at his near post with at least 3/4 defenders standing off the striker and admiring his foot work , shocking isent the word !!!

Just my opinion

Ah sure you could be right yet. They could be “sick" or “working" Wednesday. Just attend all the training sessions and matches to throw people off the scent. We will have to wait and see how your breaking news develops.

proving your point that you warrant being in the team based on merit and ability! thats what i mean!

I have been on the team the last 3/4 seasons. I wasn't selected this year. That's football. Don't think I need to prove anything being honest. I wish the lads on it all the best.

you should always feel the need to prove yourself as thats what seperates very good players from the rest..personal opinion not a persoanl criticism of anyone.

id fancy the auls 3-0 tonight against a poor defence forces You got that one wrong anyway kid

Finished 3-2. AUL were better side, Red card was a stonewaller. AUL could have scored more. They represented their clubs and our league like their lives depended on it. Only when you look around the pitch do you realise the talent in the squad. We might all add one or two but their isn't much better than Babbsy, Vinny, James O Leary, Nolans, Howie, Dean Kelly. Talented players who played hard for each other and their manager. Congrats.

Hard to tell. Not a great game in fairness. 5 shocking goals. None of the 2 goalkeepers covered themselves in glory. Ref was spot on with the major calls apart from 1 when he waved away a linos flag and Aul scored there second goal. Red card was easiest call he will ever have to make. I hope both teams will improve.

You don't post much anymore Horse but when you do your posts are (mostly ;-)) spot on. Well done to the AUL, any ideas of the starting 11?

Up to the sending off the defence forces were the better side. The red card was the correct call. Defence forces created next to nothing in 2nd half. Thomas Butler; pender, babs, Vinny, Gary comerford; howie, Leary, Cian, dean Kelly; Philip ?and Gary Nolan

I read Barry's post there, so I wasnt too far out!!

up to the sending off defence forces were better side i thought it was a poor game though. but 3 points on the board donal wont be complaining. i thoiught greany coming on and dropping in to make it a 4-5-1 of sorts helped the aul get the foot hold they needed. red card was a stonewaller only 1 winner from then on should have been more in the end keepers and defenders needed to be drafted into that squad big time.
