I just have one serious concern over our vist to Tel Aviv.....can you guaranteee the pubs will not run out of beer??????? See you in a few weeks!!

Happened in Adelaide during the Rugby World Cup aswell. Pubs and hotels
had to get emergency supplies from brewerys and borrow kegs from
neighbouring suburbs that wernt busy!

So your radio station is stupid.....because it was a criminal attack and not a palestinien attack. And it was a granade and not a bomb.

I only put up what I heard on 2 radio stations this morning. If its wrong, so be it. Don't be shouting your mouth off at people for putting up what they hear on the radio. A lot of Irish are travelling to Tel Aviv, and whether you like it or not Israel is NOT a safe place for travelling support, hence playing their last qualifying campaign in CYPRUS, so we have to be aware of whats happening there.

No i dont find it safe as Ireland is safe for example. I find it much safer then the why Israel is shown in the world. Lets say that that if you came to Israel without hearing any news before you would find it safe.

Actually the roads in Israel are much more scary.....in our free-way we could drive 100, lets say the chances that you will see someone driving 150 when you drive from the airport is high. ( although we dont have fancy cars ) .
70% of the people who got killed in Israel who were killed in suisid bombs were killed in the first two years ( 2001-2002 ) .

Have been reading this thread for the last few months (only decided to register now!). Myself and another from Pats are travelling at least, and possibly another couple depending on March paydays etc!

Would like to thank eldad and the bonk for priceless info and look forward to what will no doubt be a fascinating trip. we are going with AC DUB and the stand up trip.

Bonk I think you will find that we all have different accents when you meet us depending on what part we are from.
