Blarney St Vs Regional United is now taking place on a synthetic surface in Cork tomorrow. Blarney St pitch unplayable and moved to FAI approved surface similar to that in Castletroy College & St Clements College.

prionsias9,The inishowen league sure works in mysterious ways.
I dont know why Redcastle are not playing Milford this weekend. It doesnt favour Redcastle as they have a very tough league match instead, and it wont help the pitch

Blarney St vs Regional utd
true the game has been moved. Our Home pitch is unplayable so instead of giving up HOME advantage and tavelling to Limerick next week we had pre booked Mayfield All weather. The pitch is FIFA approved and facilties are second to none. Know from travelling away myself a few times that is great to get a shower before headin on a bus home. look foward to the game and hopefully a Street win:)
Any1 news on Regional????:p

In fairness Westport are realistically connaughts strongest representative. They have won it before and most if not all of that team that won it are still playing. Also, they have built on that squad and have some quality players. West did beat Westport last year in the connaught cup but I wouldnt read to much into that.west beat them easy and away from home, maybe westport just had an off day but west are alot stronger than the team that beat westport 2-0 in last years connacht cup, salthill are quoted at 20/1 yet west beat them 5-1 in the league a couple of months ago, only for the keeper it would of been double figures.25/1 west united is value, lost on peno's the last 3 yrs in the open draw last 8,16 and 32 also only beaten in connacht cup semi on peno's last year.very hard side to beat, just can't take peno's.

You can strike off that 66/1 about Glenmuir, beaten 3-1 by Nenagh AFC today, who are still not playing as well as they were last season, but there are encouraging signs of improvement.

carbury 3-0 dines...scoreline doesn't do the game justice...carbury scored on the break wit their first chance at a time when we were well on top...had two goals disallowed, one unbelievably so...a corner that went directly in which was adjudged to have gone out of play first...carbury took their chance's, we wasted twice as many...best of luck to them in the next round

So being 1st in the Limerick District league, and into the last 32 in the MJC(odds were made BEFORE they played in the FAI on Saturday) means your installed as what 4th favourites for a Competition where they've never been beyond the last 16. I'd rather go for teams that have a History of Winning competitions that the vast majority of teams care about. But thats me... If I'm missing the point, then your surely missing something up top mate, but thats nothing we didn't already know eh...

Couple of points on that......West were very good in taking their chances, scoring 4 in an 11 minute spell before the break. Usher's 'keeper went after 3rd goal, mouthing at linesman. It was not 10 v 10 for a lot of the 2nd half, it lasted precisely 5 minutes, when John McClearn got a 2nd yellow. West added a 5th when it was 10 v 9. Frustration and ill-discipline led to 2 more reds for Usher, and West scored the last 5 goals in the last 7 minutes.

It was a good win but not something to get carried away with. Why someone would get sent off for an off the ball when winning 4-0 is beyond me. On a good surface like they had yesterday they will give a good game to anyone left in comp.

Boylesports latest betting.St Kevins are strong this yr but at 10/1 it looks as if a Kevins supporter works for Boylesports-thats way too short. My own team Kilbarrack are about right at 50/1.Sheriff YC are a really decent team but 14s for a team with no decent form in the junior cup is too short also.Ballymun at 16s have Barry Kavanagh top AUL scorer for the last few seasons in great form but wouldnt have the strength in depth to win it!
So the Dublin scene in my opinion isnt great and it looks to me that it will be won from outside Dublin again!

well done too the lads

a fine team performance from Boro, all 14 that took part done what was asked of them,2 second half goals from Peter Ryan and Shane Clarke sealed the win for Boro and only for some last ditch defending and a couple of fine saves from the Castlebridge keeper it could of been more,Lou Quigley just about shaded it for man of the match, but as i said all 14 players played their part

They were young and lively but not one player that really caught the eye in fairness. Their sweeper had a good delivery at set pieces which were troublesome, other than that they had very little to offer.A lot has to be said at how good Rathkeale played.
