Coperate boxes in the Lyric? I don't suppose you'll be wanting to mix with the likes of us ruffins that will be singing songs and generally be behaving like working class oiks  :D

My dad was trying to work out who you were this morning, maybe that's why he didn't recognise you. He was apparently hassling all the regulars on his usual flight this morning, asking if they were Peadar! Glad I came back yesterday... :o

You'll have to learn the following pharses;
'Oi you slag', and 'come on, who wants it?' then we can 'ave a right ol cockney knees up and no mistake guv'nor.

On the Cork - Heathrow flight?
I had a very grumpy head on me after leaving home at 05:30
We were delayed for almost 3 hours while the pilots were driven to Shannon to collect the plane and fly it back to Cork to pick us up.
Pity the 2 Aer Aran flights to Dublin who had to go by bus.

You know how it is, if you turn up to any of these events in a suit, it obviously means you wont sing or take part, or do anything but sleep!! Or at least that seems to be the thinking of some of the people on this site :D

Any more names for the list?
Our subs bench is a little light.
Friends and partners are more than welcome so long as they can hold their own in a football debate. Having said that, deep pockets and a generous disposition would suffice. ;)

NOTE: The Israel-Palestine conflict is not to be discussed.

Aren't you just spoiling all my fun, we'll have to do with a short history of the Balkans followed by a lecture on conflict resolution in the north of Ireland - Liam leading the debate. Should be a rocking night out. ;)

Ad to that any talk about the final promotion places in the EL first division. :(

Surely that would be only a 5 minute conversation.....

We could talk about the mighty gate instead, but I think that most of the younger party goers would sadly not have heard of them. ;)

What abouts Cobh's chances in the CL as a discussion?

You'll have to ask the wedding couple about that! ;)
Who gets married in December anyway!?

What date would suit people?

If you go to the Lyric you can sit on the table with your legs folded and have beer poured into your mouth while you hum. :D

Pat's pastimes aside about a new date...I'm just getting away with coming at the moment as the Friday will be ma last day of college before the Christmas break...could probably do the Wednesday (15th) though. Logically the next Thursday is going to be to close to Christmas (day before Christmas eve) and is everyone booked up for Friday 17th?

Looking to me at the moment that 15th or 17th would be most logical....aside Kieran will need to know which night to book PP's couch for ;) :D

Peadar
08/11/2004, 3:51 PM
and is everyone booked up for Friday 17th?

Our Belfast party is on the 3rd, our Dublin party is on the 10th so it figures that our London party will be scheduled for the 17th.
Since I hope to attend all 3, I won't plan to be available on the 17th for the foot.ie party.
