thats a shock a local junior manager missing for his teams game :rolleyes: c'mon now it does happen now and again and thats why you would have 2-3 lads involved in running team, and the manager has already missed 2 games they won in fai / Munster junior not so long ago

The view are a nice young side and may challange for local honours again, in a few years.
With regard to back-room staff crossing sides.There is nothing wrong with that as long as
the person does not cause trouble on purpose.
Summerville sent no-one over to the View side last Sunday. if there was some-one over there
they were not sent over by the management.

terrible conditions at the janesboro v ballananty game today,but the pitch in great nike considering the monsoon the last few days.comfortable win for the boro,missed a pen ,hit the post twice before clarke scored,were in control most of the match and cant remember glasheen having a serious save to make.two boro centre halves outstanding did not put a foot wrong.balla disappointing,hardly created a chance,second best all game,stated without daly,lee, and quinn all on the bench.

What a fright the minnows gave us this morning .We scraped thru against a very good Grange team who lead us twice.Our hero was our Manager Paul Breen who had to play in Nets as our Keeper was ill.He made 2 saves in the shootout as we held our nerve .He missed a Pen for Kilmore Utd in an FAI Junior Cup final when they lost on Pens back in the 90s.Maybe now he wont get stick .

Avenue team was Deasy, herlihy, Russell, Nugent, cuddy, McCarthy, alex, Wilson, Roche, mahoney, Hennessey, subs used were barry Nugent and dean d'auria

No sign of either of the Smyths although I was assured colin at least was injured.

Bridge team was mulready, Whyte, Murphy, griffin, Downes, carr, fitzgearld, Tom, Maxwell, Bunda, Mikey mc, subs used were Johnny Hayes,

Bridge were minus there captain culbert and alan Mul due to Injury

Bridge had much the better start and were causing avenue all sorts of problems , avenue settled in the second half. Goals scored by Hennessey and Mikey mc, both good finishes, overall I felt the bridge shaded the contest .
