found some Leinster Junior Cup stuff:
Sherriff into round 5, so unbeaten in League, FAI, Leinster
Ballymun & KUFC into 4th round
St. Kevins beaten in 3rd round

The last 8's league form this season is as follows:
Sherriff(AUL A) W8 D0 L0
KUFC(AUL A) W7 D0 L2
St Kevins(AUL A) W5 D2 L2
Ballymun(AUL A) W4 D2 L4
Carew(Lim Prem) W11 D2 L0
Pike(Lim Prem) W9 D0 L2
Pease Celtic(Cork AUL Prem) W3 D1 L0
Ballinasloe(Ros Prem) W10 D2 L0
obviously all 8 are unbeaten in FAI, Carew & Pike are both still in Munster Junior(Pearse knocked out?) and Ballinasloe in Connacht Junior, I dont know about the Leinster Junior...it means that both Carew and Ballinasloe are yet to have been beaten this season...
Yes pearse lost to park united in mjc

How many supporters would go to final just asking would you be talking 2 thousand 3 4 5 thousand ??? Just asking what was the numbers at last years final ? Was just thinking would it not make sense for the fai to allocate each club let's say 2 thousand tickects at 10 euro . Because I presume with an international match on you talking cheapest ticket 30 ?? Would be a nice gesture . Or I'm I just dreaming
The average attendances at F.A.I.Junior Cup finals over the past few years was between 1500-2000.

Sheriff well worth their win, Carrick very disapointing but took and early lead. Sheriff scored almost straight away a corner headed to the edge of the area was chested down and volleyed to the top corner. Sheriff went 2-1 up about 20 mins in, long ball caught our defence out and Sheriff converted the one on one. Carrick had 2 decent chances before half time which if taken might have a changed the final score. Sheriff had a man sent off just before half time for pushing a Carrick player to the ground. Sheriff weathered 10 mins of Carrick pressure at the start of the second half playing 3-5-1. After which they reverted to 3-4-2 very brave in fairness but got their rewards with a great team goal. From here on in they put on a masterclass of defending and ball play. They went 4-1 with 10 to go from a header from a corner where Adrian Walsh felt he was impeded coming from the cross. They scored a last min penalty catching Carrick on the break. Both teams had a man sent off late on, both justifiable probably an hour too late for the Sheriff number 4 who scamped for the 90 mins. The game was ill tempered and let a sour taste in the mouth. Sheriff are unbelievable team but should learn to win with a little more modesty not the NBA type slegding and showboating at opponents and fans.
Also no team should be allowed play on astro turf just my opinion but possibly a discussion for another day.
worst team i have seeing for showboating in the last 5 years was carrick, we have been down to ye on couple of occassions and some of the carry on of players and supporters was a disgrace, even after winning in carrick i left with a sour taste because of certain incidents and carry on of their players during the game,

Final score AET in Clontarf
Sheriff 0-2 Dundalk.(Kurtis Byrne,Pat Hoban)
Sheriff finish with 9 men and lucky it wasn't 7,punches thrown on numerous occasions by Sheriff players.
From a dundalk fan seems sheriff has a serious prob with there discipline another supporter claiming they were throwing punches again in a match.

Heavy suspensions could be in the offing, won't do their FAI chances any good,FAI may throw the book at them,is it 3 months for throwing punches, where did you hear this thom.?

def problems with there discipline could end up costing them the Fai suspensions are mounting now. Showing potential opponents how to get at them they obviously don't like it.
Saying that even with ten men they beat carrick 5-1 and were down to ten before ht last night and still took dundalk to extra time.

And thats type of stuff was happening Sunday, im not getting into my club v your club.
Shocking to hear this, as All Ireland Champs they should carry themselves a bit better and with a little more class!! I hope they can leave this attitude behind them going into the quarter finals...I dont think the other teams will take it from them..

carricks players and supporters are no better or worse than plenty other clubs.a fine club who have made massive strides the last ten years and deserve the utmost respect.when it comes to the big competitions discipline is of utmost importance, but most clubs suffer from indiscipline on and off the field at one stage or another.

This demonization of Sheriff is way over the top. Just because they had a few players sent off in 2 high profile games doesn't make them or their supporters savages. I'd prefer a team with a bit of bite in their bellies rather than one that simply go through the motions. The thing I would query about Sherif is that if they are so strong for junior football have they the ambitions to go senior?

agree that a lot of the comments could be deemed over the top.
but the fact remains that they have had 4 players sent off in two games, which would have to weaken their selection options in future matches.
can someone answer me,does the sendings off in the match against dundalk(what ever the susupensions recieved),count for junior matches also(i.e FAI,LJC and local comps)

seriously lads they beat carrick 5-1 with 10 men for an hour and brought a premier loi side to extra time and had two sent off also and people come on here bitching about their discipline... so what they are fai junior cup champions and look like they will do it again and for the record they didnt play on astro when they spanked kilbarrack in last years final so worry about yer own clubs..we would all love their little discipline problems if we had their squad..I believe yee have a few discipline problems of yer own going into tonights cup final prawn??

one suspended all right...but in the two games played so far, there was very little between the teams.
one factor in Carews favour ,is the fact that have been playing almost every week, whereas fairview have had games here and there.
looking forward to the encounter (and a few pints after:D)
great win by Carew, hopefully they will win across the board

Good win from St Kevins down in Willow Park yesterday in the Leinster Senior Cup . There were no Linsmen , Ref was on his own and you could see he was a home town ref . Deserved the 2-1 Victory , Willow only scored in the last 5 mins , off a deflected shot . Kevins go on to play Longford in the last 16 down in Flancare park .

Besta luck too pearse
think both limerick teams will be happy with the draw.
as long as you are at home,at this stage of the comp.,that's all that matters.
no disrespect to pearse, but i think carew got the better of the two draws.
could be a right tester for sheriff(many peoples favs for the comp.)
also, great to see the draw being made on the box.
good move by the FAI to promote the junior game...well done

Carew look a good bet at 6/1, they have already beaten pike a couple of times this year and also have a good home draw in the quarters so good value for money possibly. Pike apparently came close to going out of the mjc at the weekend after scraping through the previous round on penalties so they dont look great value. You could argue cup football is all about winning and winning they are so maybe they are just doing what they have to at this stage
They won 4 2 on sunday and missed a pen.and im sure the douglas lads would agree that the better side definitely won on the day.as you say its all about getting the result.when they won it they were on the verge of going out on a few occasions.i wouldnt read too much into it to be honest. At the end of the day its a results game.

fair point, a lot easier to get up for the big games as well i suppose and their 2 trips to cork would not have been huge tests in their eyes so probably just done what they had to do...carew still look good value thoughi was at the pike coacford game and while i dont begrude pike their peno win they were 2nd best all round that day to be fair .in play coachford hit post twice and missed a peno plus the 2nd half keeper was brill he made 4 great saves so they were tested that day lads.

Fair play to MNS for holding the draw last night. It was great to see and great for the 8 clubs involved to get the trip to the AVIVA last night. Great bit of PR. It should be done every year.
