Where you at that game Nigel ? Was it a good game ?
Oldlegs, here is a brief match report from the Donegal Democrat:
Cappry Rovers 1
Innishvilla 3
Play swung from end to end with both teams playing their hearts out in a good competitive opening period with both defences kept busy. Cappry opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Kevin McGlynn fired to the bottom left hand corner of the net past the diving keeper following a cross.
The visitors put the pressure on in search of the equaliser but it was Cappry who nearly scored through Malachy Martin but his shot went narrowly wide. Innishvilla got back on level terms in the 39th minute when a shot from close range by Mickey Lynch deceived Benji O’Meara and finished in the back of the net.
The visitors went in front in the 41st minute through Mickey Lynch when the Cappry defence failed to clear their lines and he scored from close range.
In the second half Cappry went in search of the equaliser, created a few good chances, one where the ball ran along the goal line but there was no one to finish it. Cappry had another shot which hit the crossbar. The visitors also hit the bar.
Cappry threw caution to the wind and played three at the back but were caught in the 85th minute when Mark Murphy beat the offside trap to drill the ball past the advancing O’Meara in the Cappry goal to seal the game and put the Cork team through to the next round of the cup.

Have to agree with you, away team will always blame local officials when they lose including limerick teams I might add,and it's usually the opposite here in limerick home officials normally screw their own, have seen it happen in the past, good luck to all limerick teams on Sunday.im sure LDMC knew what they were doing when they selected the officials for both limerick teams that are at home.

ah sure rise above it club has more important things to concentrate don't know why someone would go out of there way. Trying to beat an excellent clonmel team the weekend is the priority huge ask.

When did you see clonmel town playing, thats not a smart question i have seen them twice and they are very average.
that person should hang his head in shame, everyone knows who he is, its all over Limerick, sure didnt they do the same a few years ago against westport town, the story in that club is that players are not happy he did it, shameful thing to do, if they have a strong committee he should be disciplined by his own club. they cant beat them on the field so they try dirty tactics to beat them some other way, Robbie Broe is a top guy, I'd imagine a lot of refs wont be happy with it either and it could bite them in the butt yet.

don't think there is much that can be done about it,it's in the hands of the proper authorities, anyway we are just interested in the game on Sunday witch should be a cracker,by the way they than no involvement in the westport situation just like to clarify that.safe travelling to the Clonmel lads and we will see ye on Sunday.

totally agree...one of the top three refs in town..and knows how to communicate with players.
honest as the day is long, whoever the person is should be ashamed of themselves, they essentially brought the refs integrity in to question(although they probably had not got the cop on to realise it).
the reason behind it could be debated, but as far as i can see, it is an attempt to unsettle Carew park, possibly because they fear them.
fair play to clonmel and also best of luck to Carew
heres hoping Pike get their just rewards to-morrow and get beat in the fai

Terenure game was decided in the first 5 minutes really. Incredibly open start, both sides missed clear chances before Clonmel scored 2 in 2 mins. The Clonmel forwards had great movement all game and found space too often early on, the lads will be gutted with all 3 goals to be honest. Was 3-0 after 20 mins yet there was little between the sides and.Terenure deserved the one they got back before half time. Second half was tight with Terenure pressing and Clonmel dangerous on the counter. Turned on sending off for Terenure. Silly challenge but not near making contact, red a bit harsh. Terenure had to keep pressing and Clonmel got 4th. Late penalty for Terenure made the scoreline more realistic. Clonmel were excellent and Terenure really missed Nige in the middle of the park who was unfortunately suspended. The lads can be proud of getting so far and they can go further in the near future with the squad that's being put together. Good luck to Clonmel in the next round.
