With Trump's tendency to adopt fake personas (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-alter-ego-barron/2016/05/12/02ac99ec-16fe-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html?utm_term=.0b5cc0f9e38e), you could even be him for all we know. In which case, any chance of a loan? Cash* or the missus, either will do.
* Roubles, please. I'm planning for the future.

WHY WHY WHY???!!!! I came here to get away from news about our New Orange Puppet Overlord and you bring him into the conversation - I'm reporting you to Tets and demanding a long ban. And besides, for all we know (because Trump won't release his taxes) Brady might already be worth more than him. In fact, I might be worth more than him.
I agree with you about the unmentionable one, we only have his own word for it which is worth less than ..... (insert useless Irish player of your choice).

Norwich have agreed a fee with Crystal Palace, while Burnley appear set to buy Snodgrass.

I'd prefer to see him at Burnley myself.

me too but in a year or two burnley could be struggling.

Burnley do seem well run, stable and on the up. Their long term potential has its limitations though I suppose and I'd imagine the wages would be better at Palace with some of the players they were able to sign in recent seasons (e.g. Cabaye, Benteke, Townsend). It's hard to know, if Big Sam isn't still wallowing in self pity and can work his usual magic then it could be a brilliant move for him.

Paul's just laying the foundation for another "told you so, I'm a visionary unlike ye lot" :)

I know, and at least if Burnley aren't struggling in a couple of years it'll reinforce his point even more... somehow. :D

Give Paul a break. If it was that easy to state the obvious with such dead-eye accuracy then the internet would be full of guys doing it.

I was thinking Place were more a long ball team, which indeed they are now I looked up the figures, mind you Burnley are second in the long ball table. Anyhow it will be one more team with a Irish player playing so that's good news.

I see Burnley have made another bid. So it's not a done deal with Palace yet.

Palace supposedly only bid for him to cover their arses in the event the Van Aanholt move falls through.

That seems to be as good as done (http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/10744375/patrick-van-aanholt-set-for-crystal-palace-move-after-sunderland-accept-14m-bid) so will be interesting to see what becomes of Brady. Hopefully Burnley will benefit.
Can't say I know much about Van Aanholt. Is he just a left back or can he play further forward?

Various reports online that a transfer fee has been agreed between Norwich and Burnley, and Brady's transfer will be announced tomorrow.

Brady to Burnley confirmed. In excess of £10.5m and club record.
I think that's a fantastic move.

I concur, it's an excellent move for Brady to an ambitious grounded club who are determined to consolidate a mid table position for seasons to come and somehow due to the Anglo class structure i'd say no bigger club are going to come in to try and pry away their manager. I don't know how serious Palace were with their intents but it's unpredictable down there in the relegation zone, it's a mexican standoff situation over the next few weeks.

Excellent move, way better than Palace currently 3rd from bottom.
This is quite funny!! :)

Great goal!
Would be nice to see it from a few different angles.
Agreed. That angle is great but I can imagine there would be an angle from behind the goal that would be even better as it would show how the flight of the ball beat, arguably, the best keeper in the world.
On tv there were two other angles - directly behind and directly in front. Cracking strike. I'll see if I can find other highlights.

I just saw Chelsea's goal now and Brady wasn't too great for it, he'll have been extra pleased for that free kick to fly in. I did hear an interview with him earlier as well saying that he didn't have a very good game.

Brady is cup tied for Burnley's FA Cup campaign. Bit of a shame really when it looked likely he was going to leave when he played in the 3rd Round for Norwich. Hendrick is serving the second of his three match ban today against Lincoln and Ward is on the bench. Alan Power starts for Lincoln in their first FA Cup 5th Round tie since 1887.

Brady seems to have been dropped. He hasn't really taken off at Burnley yet it seems. He was poor against Man Utd last week even though they were outplayed generally, Hendrick definitely fared the better out of the two though.
Ronnie Whelan discusses this...

free kick assist headed over keeper?
Yep. It wasn't a particularly special ball in. Keeper made a hames of it.

A good ball in I think, gave the keeper problems as if he should come and get it or not.
Perfect delivery really tempted the keeper out but he could not get to it, the ball delivered right where the keeper didn't want it to go.
Also good work my McClean earlier on to help create for West Brom..

best view yet. perfect delivery

Yeah, that's a fair take on it alright Tricky. It was put into a dangerous area and caused the keeper to look like a clown.

Dyche feels a full pre-season at Burnley will help Brady's performances - http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/15287375.Sean_Dyche_confident_Burnley_will_see_an_ improved_Robbie_Brady_after_a_full_pre_season/
Robbie came in in January and I think he needs a pre-season with us to really get how we work and get used to the players. It’s hand in glove with some players, but it can take time with others, he’s taken a bit of time to get used to what we are.
