who got injured? and what type of injury was it? will this game be replayed?

Thomas injury not as bad as first thought. Broken bone in his foot won't know how long he is out til the sewlling goes down. Massive loss for the B team they have no one to replace him. How ever long he is out he'll still be there top scorer when he comes back

After next thursdays'fixtures(10-09-09) boro b will have played 7 fixtures..
2 at home and 5 away..a small bit unfair i think and to be honest cant see the home fixture this thursday going ahead if we get the rain that is forecast. any body else with the same scenario??

All of Star Rovers 4 games to date have been away from home, all be it due to development of their home pitch, so to have 9pts from 4 away games ain't that bad............

On stage? He'll be able to retire soon along with the rest of the referees if they get the pay rise they are looking for. Yes, the refs are looking for an increase in pay. Great timing eh!!

Then an increase in refereeing standard should go with that pay rise, IF they get it..

Just another question lads...who fixes a junior match on a Saturday night at around the same time as Ireland play a world cup qualifier??? It's nuts!

And also clashing A and B teams to boot clubs in the crown jewels who are struggling as it is,they haven`t the brains to be idiots these people.

Now i know a few lads kicked up a fuss last year when games were on the morning after a Munster match...but i dont think thats an issue as we play football and have nothing to do with peanut hugging, but I mean i assume anyone who kicks a ball with a team and has an interest will want to watch Ireland beat Cyprus(;))....either way looks like the rain will solve the problem!! :D

Agree with that.

You could`nt make this up from the ldmc, shannon hibs two games on a thursday evening were away to pallasgreen and hospital which was called off tonight and next week away to murroe.
In all fairness is that stupidity or sinister.

That is bad enough but the referees will make sure you have to travel to be told the pitch is too waterlogged and collect their half fees.
On the refs debate about a pay rise, you earn a hike if you deserve it from improving your standards, not because you have the ldmc by the cahonas afraid to take them on as happens every week ,when clubs go in about an incident that involves a ref and report is a novel of lies.
The committee listen to the clubs side of the story then the clubs get slaughtered and i have seen this myself over the years.Stand up to these leeches.

Recently got my name taken by some clown who thought he was a ref, no card was shown and this morning i was notified i was banned for a match and 30 euro fine, come on a pay rise. Another incident a player was sent off for a second yellow, when he asked the ref for what the ref waved him away and would'nt say, some of these guys are only on power trips and dont care about the game of football

I wouldn't say its a power trip more likely some of these refs are bottlers who can't handle the pressure when things get heated on the field start focusing on the wrong things and forget to follow the game and screw up all the important decisions, just bottlers and a few tossers
