Not too sure i think they're staying in 1A all depends who signs for them
It says on the 2A thread that Balla b are in 2A next year..So will anyone be put in 1A to replace them?

summerville rovers will have an astro available for use by end of september, it's astro grass similar to mungrets and around the same size, throw me on a pm if intersted in renting.

not to worry the b's have a new striker that will strike fear into the opposition, shine will return.

s ville beat askeaton the other nite one nil out in askeaton, any one any info on the sville team??
The A team looked strong cozzy back in goals and ogie playing at full back looked strong at the back new midfielder mark griffin is very sharp and will add alot to the team
Summerville to be promoted by christmas
Have they got a decent team together?
i'd reckon so,some of last years b team plus some of the c team and a few old faces,i'd say they will hold there own.
Would have been a mistake to drop to 2a considering all the hard work put in over the years to get to 1a

Promoted by christmas????!!!! bit early for that kinda talk. gonna be an absolute dog-fight for promotion this season, can't really see any team running away with it like Mungret did last year. by the way if Janesboro B finish 1st or 2nd does that mean the 3rd placed team goes up? because you can't have 2 teams in the premier?

this years team is a lot stronger than last years side so considering they were in the mix with a few weeks to go last season they should be there or there abouts come may, But promoted by chistmas is a bit of a stretch.

Summerville will have there work cut out in fairness, they wont have it that easy! As for Janesboro B...Good team but not a chance they'll finnish first or second, but ya you're right if they managed it they couldnt go up unless their A's went down...

alot of talk about summerville already, will dromore be struggling tomorrow night so, from what i here have summerville the squad to be as good as mungret or dines were last year, shannonman how are preperations going in the camp. must have being gutted to miss out on promotion by a point last season, think it would be fair to say may not have been strong enough to stay up there.

what do you mean pre season has been ok.. didnt ye win the wesley webb tournement for the second year runnin so i heard, either pre season is going good or teams involved in the wesley webb are bad!!
shannon have to be one of the favourites this year to do well considering granville and dromore have lost plyers. summerville could be the only worry to shannon this year with maybe the exception from charleville. cant imagine any other sides to take the league by storm this year.
so less of the sh*t talk

Jeez!!! calm down...you really think im gonna come on here and say we'll go up?? not a hope...
why did you ask if your so sure we are going to go up....last year i said we were quietly confident and yet we didn't go up so last year wasn't a success...ok we improved drastically from the year before and we will hope to improve again this year...but unfortunatly we have lost one of our best players to cork under 20's and losing him will make big difference....we have gain a few who will be big players for us this year and have done well pre-season but nothing matters untill a ball is kicked tomorrow night...
Bring it on

Anyone on here know who Granville have lost??? I know Billy Tynan has retired and will be a massive loss for them, but I also heard last night that Conor Croke (Corky) also packed it in, and that Philip Clancy and Enda Cregan both signed for Athlunkard, and that Judge hasd also left, can anyone confirm this????

We'd actually take a point tonight, considering we found out last night that we'll be missing one of our best players for the season (due to knee ligament damage in a pre-season friendly) and we're also missing 3 or 4 others for tonight, but hopefully will have some of them back for Sunday.

Got it confirmed today that all of the above have left Granville, but also had it confirmed that they have brought in quiet a few..............so looks like a new look Granville team for 1A this season.

Judge hatrick and Andrew Simmond for Caherdavin. Only caught the second half myself but Caherdavin didn't seem too troubled in the second half anyway. Great start for Caherdavin but the boro will be disappointed in losing by that much.

Yes, he and Christy Reddan Junior, we were 1 up and cruising and really could have 6 or 7 up when they levelled through a very soft goal by a mistake from us (there only shot on target all evening) and we then went on to win it, and could've even got another one or two after our second.
Still 3pts is 3pts and teams will drop points out there during the season especially in the winter time.
