Oh forgot to mention...he didn't show up..we waited half an hour for someone else to come out....
Heard theres a lot of in house fighting going on at Shannon Town at the moment, and that ye have the play a few B players lately, any truth in that? Not that you'd admit it anyway if it was the case.

jesus thats funny..i heard the same about star..i heard ye had a big row after losing yesterday..and 7 lads walked away from club...must be something in the air..
o ya as for the in house fighting...check your sources again..
Calm down pal, it was a genuine question, and no malice intended.
As for Star!!!!!......Theres no fighting amongst us, we were beaten by the odd goal in 3, against a bogey side for us and TBH we should have got something from the game,

no need for me to calm down pal.. ..it was a ridiculious comment..you asked a question then commented that he wouldn't answer anyway...why ask the stupid question so???
the lack of respect some people show on here is unbelievable..and for you to target shannonman.probably the 1 person on here who doesn't have a sly dig at other clubs..now thats crazy..
Read my post again, I never said he wouldn't answer it, I said he wouldn't admit it......I asked Shannonman a question, if wishes to answer thats his decision......How is that targeting someone and crazy???
Stay out of it.

i suppose wit shannon having games in hand and looking good to win it...ye have to try unsettle them some how...and maybe you should read your own mighty words...stay out of it...shannon town's or any other clubs in house matters(be they good or bad) are none of your or anyone else's buisness...agreed
I take it you play with Shannon Town? If so aren't you getting very defensive, especially if ye have nothing to hide.
For the record, I think Shannon will win the league, so theres no point in trying to unsettle them, after all as you say above they're "looking good to win it" especially with so many games in hand, surely it's theirs to lose.......................isn't it?

no not a player with them..but a different club in shannon..i have a lot of friends there...and trust me your sources are wrong..how could there be trouble in house and they are going so well...
A team playing well on the field doesn't stop in house fighting off the field.....................

so what was the story with the Croom Shannon match being called off then? Getting very close again at the bottom and the top after looking half predictable a week or two ago. 1A is a funny league like that...

We were considering calling up B players a few weeks ago when some lads were missing(stags, weddings, etc.) and considering the season they are having I'm sure some of them are good enough but we didn't do it in the end. As for in house fighting...well I don't think you could be further from the truth Alan. We has had 15/16 training over the last few weekn busting a gut to get into the team no one wants to be on the bench when your challenging, Sunday was an off day...we had one out in Newport last year against caherconlish this year, it happens you just dust yourself down and get on with things. Your welcome to come watch us train tonight and make your own mind up about whether we are fighting with each other if you want....

If the 3 points has no bearing on promotion or relegation they will prob just let result stand?

Sure we won't know whether the result will matter untill the end of the season...
Anyway let's leave it untill we know one way or the other...what are the chances of the games going ahead tomorrow night???

Are you for real.. Granville out played ye on the day in every position on the park. In the end Granville could have won this fairly handy if it was not for some awful finishing.. The last 15 minutes of this game was a disgrace from star players and the sideline shouting abuse at in my opinion one of the best ref's in town. Robbie Browe. Get on with yer defeat and best of luck for the remainder of the season..

Thats probably because he bottled sending off yer centre half in the first half (who then went on to score 2 goals) and then rejected a stone wall peno for us which would have also resulted in a straight red for yer keeper.

Firstly he was not the last man when he commited that foul on monty, Who later said he was not fouled monty was blaming the state of the pitch. The same player only scored 1 goal the other was an own goal. As for the stone wall penalty you must be having a luagh. Again monty said after it that it was worth a dive... Don't know what games youd be watching at all.. You must be on some drugs at times... Enjoy

Thats funny coz Monty told our whole squad the complete opposite for both incidents after the game in the dressing rooms, and I dont know where you saw an OG, both goals were scored by yer centre back......................anyway, you tell me what other chances Granville had on target other than the 2 they scored from set pieces, coz I cant remember any.............

Big games on Sunday and Tuesday for the top 3 and bottom 3. What a massive game for yee Shannonman at the Boro after loosing 2 in a row, 3 points there would get yee back on track. Caherdavin and Star should be a good game on Tuesday and i think if Caherdavin win they will get promoted. 2 big wins for Croom in row and if they get something at Herbertstown i think they will avoid the drop. Whatever happens it will bean exciting finish to the season.

Yeah, we'd be happy with a draw away to Caherdavin and then hope that they draw or lose when they play Shannon Town, thats providing we beat Dromore away tomorrow, which will be no easy game considering they're under pressure now to get points considering the revival of Croom in recent games.

Dromore 4-4 Star. Dromoro 4 up at half time. Made two subs which ended up in disaster. Ref was absolutely terrible. Told 2 Star players at half time "lads there is another half yet to go, ye can get back into it". Star scored a well worked goal ten mins into the second half. Then got the worst penalty decision I have ever seen in my life. Dromore player lying on the ground after a tackle in his penalty box, hand flat by his side, Star player took a shot from two yards away which his his hand/side (hand didnt move), and ref took about ten seconds to give a penalty, saying it was ball to hand. Ref then sent off a Dromore player for a second yellow, he was through on goal and took a shot two seconds after the ref blew the whistle. Said to the ref he honestly didnt hear it, but ref was having none of it. Funny thing was on two separate occasions later in the game, Dromore players blatantly kicked the ball away and should have got yellows, but nothing was given. Only given a yellow cos ref knew he was on one already.
Star dominated second half, and after sending off it was an onslaught. On the counter, the Dromore striker who got all four goals, was straight through on goals from the halfway line, ball five/six yards ahead of him, and was chopped down by the last man for star from behind with what was basically a flying kick. Star player expected his marching orders, only got a yellow. Sideline was going ballistic. Star eventually scored a very good headed goal. Questions about the keeping. Well deserved though. Scored again pretty much straight from kick-off with some God awful defending. Star should have went on to win in, had 3 great chances from corners at the end.
Ref allowed two corners, and the resulting plays at the end after telling Dromore players there was 20 seconds left. Absolutely disgraceful. Walked off the pitch to a torrant of abuse.

If so..why does a ref and both teams have to be there for our match yet caherdavin an star can both stay at home?

Caherdavin rang the LDMC today at 5pm to say their pitch was unplayable, but were told it will be up to the ref to make the call.
So we met as normal and travelled to the Greenhills and true enough the pitch was under water, so the ref called it off.
In fairness, you cant blame the LDMC for any of this, coz who's to know if the team that make the call to say their pitch is unplayable, could be trying to pull strokes with maybe having players injured or unavailable etc;;

Agree, but with the rain that fell today it was unlikely that any game would go ahead(especially at our pitch) just seems harsh on prospect who had to travel.
Anyway attention turns to Sunday.....
Oh and that game thursday week against Dromore wont be going ahead.
