Prospect or Summerville would have to win all there games to get promoted they have a chance alright but you would have to say the other three teams are stronger, the fixtures between Star, Shannon and c'davin will be very interesting when will they clash next?

herberstown A and B team both gave walkovers today what is happening to football in limerick when both A and B teams give walkovers on the same day

Its a bad state of affairs when an "A" team (an "A" team that has "B" players to call on if stuck), give a walkover.

Surely Herbertstown "A" could have fielded 11 players between the 2 sqauds to turn out for the "A" team, thus only giving one walkover for the "B" team as apposed to two walkovers.............unless of course something happened within the club that we dont know about.

shocked to see dromore, granville and herbertstown struggling at the wrong end of 1A.star are the only team to come down from premier in recent years who are giving it a go at the top.is it a case of the other teams i mentioned above just losing players and interest after being relegated?granville were never world beaters but you never got an easy game off them.thought they would be nearly certs to come straight back up?

High turnover of players at Dromore. New faces and new management brought in, and while some performances have been terrible, i.e. the last two three weeks and at the start of the season, there were some unlucky results mid season where Dromore lost by the odd goal in a couple of games.

Just to let you know that Star have a new management team in place since last in the Prem and lost at least 15-20 players over the last 2-3 seasons, so that excuse doesnt wash Im afraid.

it does wash if the players that come in are no where near as good as what you lost

I know we have tough ones left and we are not fooling ourselves. as far as we are concerned at the moment we are third in the league playing catch up...every game is a cup final...it just varies from last year for us in that it is in our own hands, we were relying on teams to do us favours last year which is an awful position to be in.

Very true, and our situation is that we have 7 games left and if we win all 7 we get promoted (it may not come to it that we need 7 wins but thats the max required as of now).

I watched the Summerville v Boro game this morning in Portland and Summerville,in my opinion, left the win behind them. It finished 1 1 but Summerville played the last half hour with 10 players and looked like they were the most likely to win. Boro were mouthy with the ref. Whinging and cribbing.
Watch Summerville.

Yeah heard the Croom v Shannon game was abandoned with Croom leading 5-2, and according to my source the game was abandoned due to no fault of Croom's so it looks like they will get the points, maybe Shanonman can fill us in with the details.

Also, regarding Caherdavin being happy with the other results, you could say the same about Star and Shannon also being happy that none of the other top three won, and on paper you would say that Caherdavin had the easier of the games, considering it was top v bottom.

Why would Croom be so stupid to contribute to having a game abandoned having led 5-0 at one stage. Shannon's habit of non stop moaning has finally caught up with them and Croom will hopefully be awarded the points. Take your beating and move on.
