Dont want to be naming names in case players havent been in touch with the powers that be in Dromore, but 2 are set to sign with Prem teams, 2 to return to there home clubs (not sure what level they will be playin) and three of four more said to be undecided and lookin, but all in all looking to leave. These facts came from different sources, most of which are reliable.

Well when i heard 7 players gone from last years squad, i thought the worst. Dromore havent been known for their big summer signings either. What div will the b team play in? Any other movers lads?:)

Don't worry about us. The lads involved in the management are sound, the training is supposed to be good and there's a decent group of lads involved so we'll see how it goes. But given how close you seem to be to the club you probably know most of that anyway.

Presume the B team will be in 4A but I have no idea.

johnathon griffin with star is gone to pike B,

Ha Ha, your full of crap..........He was the first player to sign with Star for the new season..................Star "A" have kept every single player that finished last season again for the new season and have added 6 new players to that list.............FACT

Heard they are looking at getting into 3A or 3B. 3B is small enough as it is so we need Dromore B and one or two more teams in this divsion for it to be a decent size divsion.

Anyone hear anything about Granville..are they gonna be strong this year??

they will probably be the same as every year, diabolical, useless and could possibly get relegated again unless someone comes in and sorts out the club with some good signings

well we played them last year in the Fai(or some cup) and we nearly beat them. Still prefer to travel there than out to Cappamore!!

Coach is gone and no news of a replacement. They haven't a hope of staying up.

Heard Billy Tynan has retired on doctors orders (due to injury), if its true he will be a big loss for Granville.

Ian is staying cyril is gone to carew...john collins is a midfielder and to my knowledge is suspended along with the right full neil o brien for 4 matches for a fight against mungret last season... they need a few more than they had last year i think 1 from clare league and 1 from desmond league are on the way in and both are very good players

Summerville are strugglina again, from talkin to a few of their senior players, their b team once again this season will be the stronger of the 2, half the team has gone on hols now for 2 weeks, they'l probably have one friendly(max) before the start of the season, what was there last season has signed again with no really new faces yet.
So far the players to note who've signed are..
Ian Maher-mid
James o Donnel-def
Mike Costello-Keeper
Shane Fahy-Forward
Darren o Sullivan-Forward

Were all those players above mentioned signed with the A team last season???

Begrudger

no 3 outta the 5 were.

2 more new players in and both are quality not signed but will this week fancy summerville to go up if they can get one decent centre half on a form...

I heard over the weekend that Balla have pulled out there B & C teams from Junior football, can anyone confirm this, or is it just bull????

If it is true then I presume the team that finished 3rd in 1B last season would be promoted to 1A in place of Balla "B"................

Just checked back on last season's 1B thread and saw that Park finished 3rd on 45pts, and Fairview 4th on 43pts, but Fairview's last game of the season was called off and both them and The Boro were issued 1pt for a draw.

So technically Fairview could have finished on 45pts (joint 3rd with Park) if the game versus The Boro was played and had they won.

IF Balla "B" do pull out it will be interesting to see what team the LDMC will promote in their place to 1A...................

Maybe a pre-season play-off between Faiview "B" and Park AFC (or Shannon Hibs as they are now called).

If they have 1 team can they pick what division they will play in?

B team was in 1A last year, C team was in 2A. So they could pick either of these division or will they automatically be put into 1A?

Ya that is correct and the view had played the boro and they were winning 2 nil when ref T Hoare got injured both teams were given a point and the view had to play murroe aswell and they were both given a point for that so if view had won both games they would have finished on 47 points.

:) It could get messy. the easiest thing would be for the LDMC to make Balla stay in 1A. Then there would be no argument.
