LPYMA should be fine to play on..:ball:

Forecast is for rain every day so I doubt very much it will be on. Only the likes of Fairview and Pike have drainage good enough to handle that amount of water.

Yeah tis very bad. Hopefully home teams call off their games on the Saturday though. Nothing worse than having to stay in Saturday night, get up early, travel to the pitch (especially if its a distance) and then have the referee call it off when its quite obvious that the pitch was in no playable state the day before.

Prospect and fairview drew 2-2 a few weeks ago but the result given into the paper was 2-1 to fairview for some reason. It has now been sorted so after last weeks games prospect are on 14 pts and view are on 13 .

Sorry, I'll repharse what I said.

I dont think you can play for more than 2 clubs in any one season.
Which would explain John Boyle's situation above.

Therefore if Gary Ryan is leaving Carew before the end of the season, he can only play for one other club (the club he originally transfered from) and that's Balla.

I'm 99.9% certain of this.

you can transfer within your own league as many times as you like as long as committee ok it...you cant transfer from one league to another more than once..

So if he did sign for Shels, does that mean he could transfer back to the Prem if he wanted to?

I saw that too and its wrong. I took the table from the paper before Christmas and it looked like this:
http://foot.ie/showpost.php?p=819805&postcount=368

Shels have lost to Croom and Coonagh since that table so have definitely played 11 games. Fancy them this weekend though if its on.

That's right we have played 11 games so far..We are NOT going as good as we taught we would. A few results so far have went bad for us even though we should have won those games.. We have made a good signing to help our back line:cool:. New years resolution for us is to WIN WIN WIN...

Clubs can ring between 2 and 4 on Saturday and deem their pitch unplayable. In my opinion the LDMC have to be applauded for this idea.

Twice we've been out to the same pitch in the last few weeks, both times called off  One of their party said "a fair amount of rain fell last night" any gimp with half a brain would check the weather forecast as well when deciding if the game will be plaable on the Saturday

So your club have never had a game called a game off the same day as the fixture?
Its part and parcel of football, and not even at professional level are all games called off the day before, as has been seen in recent weeks.

Sure is but that is usually due to extreme weather conditions the day of the match, in particular frost. The aforementioned pitch was 2 feet under water last week. With the amount of rain that fell it was obvious even on the Saturday that it was unplayable. Lazy gimps didnt ring in as they didnt bother to check the pitch and dragged 3 of our players over 100 miles each that morning. I rang LDMC and their answer was "ah sure ye are only over the road we thought it would be no bother to ye." Like every player plays for their local club, I dont think so! At least they have agreed to ring for us next time if they get no reply.

ITS BETWEEN 12 AND 2 THE HOME TEAM CALL AND 2 AND 4 THE AWAY TEAM TO FIND OUT IF ITS ON.ITS NOT ALWAYS ACCEPTED WHEN YOU PHONE IN TO TELL THEM THAT THE PITCH IS NOT PLAYABLE AND THEY LEAVE IT UP TO THE REF ON THE MORNING OF THE GAME TO CALL IT OFF, AND IT OFTEN CAUSES DIFFICULTIES WITH THE TRAVELLING TEAM WHEN THIS HAPPENS.

In our case the home team didn't even bother ringing to say either way

I think that leaves them 1 point behind Croom having played 4 away 6 home of their 10 games played. What was the team that lined out.
