Scandalous to other teams if they want to get into it like that but we aint complaining, played 7 league games this season,6 of them have been at home, sunday it will 7 out of 8,but every team in the league should be delighted in coming out to shannon because its one of the best pitchs overall in limerick.:ball:

All the one really as ye will have lots of away games later so all balances out. But agree on your point, I would have no problem playing on yer pitch every week compared to most of the cow patches in Limerick!:D

I don't see how that's really beneficial to Park though in the second half of the season, Having to play 7 or 8 away games in a row. Especially when your getting up at 8.30 on a cold, wet miserable sunday morning in the middle of winter and having to travel to the likes of Murroe, Croom and Holycross.

It wont be a problem for getting up for these wet, cold mornings, all the lads just want out of this division,so being honest thats the least of our worries is the weather, playing football and beating teams off the park is what we have being doing best recently and thats our aim is to keep the consistency going for promotion.:ball:

they we sent of for two yellow card offences ... second yellow for two bad & stupid obstructions on player as they tried to go past at speed... up to that park were struggling in second half to finish murroe of. 3-1 up and when murroe scored with about 10 mins to with only 10 men go 3-2 park looked very nervous even against nine men park for last few mins.. untill they scored 4th goal.. i arrived late and missed the first 3 goals scored inside 25 mins .. butler 2 & darren murphy
still another 3 points is all that matters ... :ball:

I'd agree with that reflection on the game. In Parks defence it can be harder playing against ten men. The first three goals were very nice goals they just done things quickly and broke well. Must say the chances were there for Park they work well going forward but not so well when on the back foot.. They seem a bit biased towards the left of the field. Acres of space out on the right but they just never used it. The last goal they scored was a very good goal too rounding the keeper.

i wouldnt say we looked nervous, just didnt get the ball working on the deck, scrappy enough game,we struggled in patches but your always going to get games like that, like you said 3 points is what matters at the end of the day,but at the same time manager wasnt happy with the performance, might sound funny but we played better against wembly and got beating 4-0 than we did yesterday with a 4-2 win, true statement its a funny auld game.

Pitch should be magnificent though with no games on it during what could be the worst of the winter. For anyone interested we will be hosting two national development squad games over the Christmas at 14s and 15s, we have four players involved with these and will be great to see how they get on.

Great achievement at that age, fare play to them, only one id know is gavin and he is a good prospect for the future, the difference is keeping on to these young lads in the future, which will be hard because of offers from other clubs, all the best to the lads on the day doh.:ball:

I hear Coonagh were flying it....Would be typical them - Play ball on a good pitch like Pike....
Some hammering though for Pike who are a good side.....
Surprised Park game was off (another Home game may I add).....

Coonagh played very well alright and the pitch was in great nick. Obviously a little soft in patches but lovely. Always a pleasure to play on pitches like that and Parks.
Havent seen a table for ages. Hopefully they are on the paper on Wednesday so we get some idea where things stand.

Park have a great pitch too, but coonagh didn't beat them with all the "playing ball"!:D 8-1 is an awful trashing. Have Coonagh got some players in or something?

Nope. No new players and only had 12. Pike had 3 subs but were poor. Think too many of them like their Saturday nights out. :D

coonagh doin well again.. shame they wasted last year wit dressin room unrest.. with the inconsistency of 1a at the mo, themselves and park would be no question in the top four or five in that division and with a chance to go back to premier... played coonagh earlier in lawson and i tought they were good.. very big physical team, bit light in front of goals tho.

Coonagh should not have been relegated by all accounts! Someone told me Cappamore pulled out of the league with 4/5 games to go which when I was playing meant you dropped a division?:ball: Don't know whether thats true or not???

There was a lot of talk that Cappamore were going to drop out but it never actually happened :ball:
The last two rounds of games were never played because the promotion and relegation was already decided by then.

If you saw the goal that won it you would be thinking that alright. Keeper kicks out the ball...full back smacks it first time from near the half way and the balls sails back over the keeper. Ouch!
