As for talking football, this man is giving his opinion of a ref who did their game at the weekend. Is that not football no?? You should know refs are a big issue in this town. Very few good ones.

there might be no games scheduled for this sunday due to Ref's Charity Match at Pike Ground at 12 noon. Looking forward to kicking few guys and give dogs abuse to the Ref :D

so think there will be loads of games on Friday Saturday and Tuesday Night.

Very Versatile player me, firstly i was a goalkeeper then centre of defence then left back left midfield and for last games with Holycross last season was used up front. Useless at all of them but Very Versatile as i said :D

As far as i knew this was an open forum and i will continue to voice my opinion on refs, teams etc as much as i like and as many times as i like. i do give credit where credit is due also my friend....... In relation to Knockainey being no angles we have not had a player sent off since the second or third match this season Very few booked so where you get your info from bewilders me.....MY FRIEND..... sssssshhhhh 1 yard it was 1 yard, and if there is any fairview lads on here i apologise for that one it was only my third game in the middle. i have got a little better :D

I would never predict my own team a loss, so that's part of my reason for our Potential Croom Result.. Plus I hear they are up and down lately and we gave them a good game up in Pike field, so a point is what we hope for. As for Shels, well they have lost half their team in the last few weeks and I expect them to struggle for remainder of the season. This is the first I've heard of it! If it is true it's a giant step in the right direction for Shannon football.
It's a pity the way it's gotten out but what can you do. Think it should have waited until the end of the season to be announced if at all possible. As we need to get promotion or some of the Newtown players won't want to come near us.
I hope it's a case of the Clare League receiving Newtowns withdrawl from the 2008-2009 season and has leaked this info....

I hope this new club does play in the Premier when it arrives in 2009. Once combined I think the players are there.
But you still have to question the timing of this. It's not ideal from a players point of view we need to be concentrating on Thursday at the View. I think if the team was in 1A next year it would be great for all involved.
