We'll see what the LDMC do to me, I mean getting a second booking for calling them a bunch of clowns - what's THAT about, what rule did I break???
ps Don't have t'internet in new house, so only rarely get to log on

Lol...its those dagger eyes. Enough to scare any ref into whipping out a yellow card or two.

Well Jock, any predictions for 08/09 in 1B. What about your old alma mater Holycross, think they can spring a surprise? hear some new talent is on the way - god knows we need it. Barry & Flavin got the chop at the AGM, told everyone they 'resigned' but don't you believe it! Anyway put your footballs on the line - promotion & relegation names for next season, dare & double dare! :D:ball::D

greetings all, how bout we use foot for posting pre-season friendlies and tournament results? Herbertstown tournament started this week which has a number of 1B teams involved for example.
So post those results!

thats in GAA Hospital/Herbertstown , but in soccer they are different teams :)

Been busy playing golf :D havent any tournaments coming up yet but might get the call, probably be asked to do some freindlies as well :) getting myself ready for the new season starting 23rd August

Last August they only appeared on the paper on the Tuesday before first match. A weeks more notice would be nice.

Last night's final - Bruff 0 Hospital 0 (Bruff won on penalties aet)

Hospital were far superior side on the night with Bruff v understrength and had 3 or 4 'just back from Oxygen' heads on the field. Still they weathered the storm and won 4-1 on penalty shoot out. Hospital are a good bet to win 2A this season, or promotion at very least - so get the money on early! :cool:
