Shels 1-5 Fairview
The view took the lead after 15 mins.Shels equalised after the half hour mark.Fairview were unlucky when hitting the bar on the stroke of half time.Shels lost two of their main players after half time to injuries.Fairview went on scoring 4 good goals.Referee must have booked at least 6 of the shels players for back answering. Some were soft but there was a couple which i think on another day would have been straight reds.
Very good result for the view after Park and Prospect slipping up.
It looks like a four horse race now for second spot.
:confused::confused::confused:

Two minors started the game last night as we were mising 6 of our starting 11.But sure that's wats having a big squad is all about. You need players to fill in whenever needed and it showed last night that they can play as good as the regulars no matter wat age they are.

You should tell your "A" team that, instead of them looking for games off, when they're missing a few players!!!!

The 'A' team is nothing to do with me.I find it hard to believe that they wanted a game off because of lack of players but to be honest i dont know much about that.Im not the man that you should be saying it too either.

St.Pats 2 Prospect 2
Played on probably the worse pitches i've ever seen (there is no way that pitch is the correct size either very small) and cause of that it was a brutal match. It was 0-0 at the break but prospect took the lead with 25 to go and it was the same old story they dont know how to win ugly against the poor teams. St. Pats then went 2-1 in front ,with 2 mins to go Prospect equalised so the way the game went it was a good point against a very poor St.Pats side.
Thats 3 draws in a row for Prospect now who beat all the top teams but cant seem to put away the teams near the bottom don't seem to be able to lift there game .
Its still in there own hands but they need to start playing a lot better very poor the last 2 games

Not probably...definitely. Disgrace of a pitch really. No way is it the correct size and the surface/slope is the worst around.

The Knock' boys told me they lost 4-0 today. Croom are red hot at the moment, signing Bags (left midfielder) from Holycross was a major plus for them this season. He was the missing piece of the Croom jigsaw in seasons past...

Ya we were beaten 3 0 by a good Croom side but we were sh**e. we did not play in the first half stood up and admired Crooms play, after the break we were 100% better but John carey was an absolute discrase for both teams with terrible decisions. he did not want any linesmen, no flages given to each sideline "i will do the lines myself" he made the prospect of a good game and turned it into a look at me arent i great...........
The standard of some refs is shocking but a good bunch of Croom lads came to Knockainey and the league is now defo theirs.......thank god we will not have to travel to Croom next season........any one else feel the same?

Just on the subject of travelling, we were out at your place last week. And whilst we got stuffed 4nil, I couldn't help notice that ye have a terrible terrible pitch. And right accross the road, a beautiful GAA field!! Any chance their groundsman would have a go at your pitch?

He's from the county, out near Caherconlish I believe. If you've had him when playing a team from out that direction you will know him straight away. You'll have been ridden for 90minutes.

He is a disaster, for me he should be not allowed ref at any level. Bad refs are part and parcel of the game but he makes things dangerous by some of his actions. What makes me laugh is the amount of Caherconlish games he manages to "REF" each season.

We'll take a 1-0 win to be honest. We are on a good run at the moment so we want to keep it going. Could be missing one or two with injuries but as long as myself and you are playing, then the entertainment factor will be very high;)

understood PikeB but we do use the same grounds man but we own the Sportsfield (GAA) but unfortunatly the soccer pitch is not our own...... yes i agree there is some work to be done to our pitch but you have to work with what you have and we do have a good home record. and buy the way our field can host games when the sportsfield would be closed due to and i mean water logged.......best of luck PikeB with the rest of the season and i do hope you survive.....

Sorry to disagree with you but he is so bad i think he does not realise he is giving all the decisions to one side....then he gets a reality check and tries to make up for previous errors and gives all the decisions the other way....... i have read a good few messages on this thread about players giving it loads to the refs but this ref gives it loads to the players.....what he did not say to both teams yesterday was not worth mentioning.....he rides all teams it all depends where he was drinking the night before....
