I always enjoyed Leno more then Letterman and Conan but I think the newer, younger generation are miles better than any of them. Fallon, Ferguson, Maher, Kimmel take yer pick (even James Corden deserves a mention).

I have to be in the right mood and frame of mind to watch any of those shows though (edit: except Bill Maher but maybe he shouldn't be on that list anyway). "Uber" American...

Who said anything about hating Leno? I like him and Letterman as much as the other. And Coco got screwed.

I was just putting up a video of a show I never gave time to which was rather silly of me in hindsight.

I don't really like American chat shows or their format. Sometimes they are good, but Ferguson's Late Late was not like them at all. It was mental and tbf it lead the way for the likes of Kimmel and Fallon (and Corden) to do what they do on their shows now. When Larry King takes over in the above video the stuff that Ferguson talks about is just breathtaking and as un-American as you can get (I know he's Scottish). To be able to do that for 10 years on American TV is nothing short of astounding.

Ferguson and Maher are like the middle-ground between Fallon and Co and Letterman and Co.


I always enjoyed Leno more then Letterman and Conan but I think the newer, younger generation are miles better than any of them. Fallon, Ferguson, Maher, Kimmel take yer pick (even James Corden deserves a mention).
