Shane madden, paul finnucane, keleher, jason travis... could be only pub talk tho
finucane was there last year and had little or no interest, if the other 3 signed it would be grea but id reckon its only pub talk alright, and thats one thing them boys would be good at:)

If Kelleher did sign along with Finucane would this push them close to the 4 ex LOI player rule along with Christy O,Neill, Jack Allen and another one or two who may have played uner 20's with Limerick?? Or does the rule just apply to Premier league?

Paul Finucane 100% will not be signing with Dines.
Caherdavin will not go up, it will be the same old story with them..1 or 2 good players and full of talk for the season.Shannon and Mungret will go straight back up.
Agree on Caherdavin, but not on the other two going up. Honestly think they'll find it hard bouncing straight back. Neither are as strong in my opinion as Wembley and Summerville were.

rule would apply to everyone I'd imagine,if the rule is even their come august,could you imagine the uproar their would be if that was the case,sure view and pike could sign all their ex loi players for their b teams and play away as normal,they could use any 4 then for premier league and touhy cup matches,

never knew christy was with Lim, anyways not stirring but i was led to believe he'll be not signing for dines, hope i'm wrong

thats true, hard to see them dropping down to play with the dines and afaik Madden was asked last year and even though he is mates with the gaffer he turned him down

Fairview had a team last year - this year looking like they wont.If they dont i imagine its long odds on he will be with the Dines.If they sign those players they will be very strong.Had a good side last year i thought but very young.

Lovely evening for Pre-season training. Pity I'm only watching for the next 5 weeks at least.. Anyone ever come back from ankle ligament damage faster than a month?? (Grade 2 of 4 with 4 being the worst)

had grade 3 before and tried to come back after a month with some light training. did it again 3 weeks later. best advice is to take your 6 weeks off and work on strengthing it up rather than back training

what a disaster
had grade 3 before and tried to come back after a month with some light training. did it again 3 weeks later. best advice is to take your 6 weeks off and work on strengthing it up rather than back training

I came back too soon a few times and am paying the price now. Ligament is in ribbons, is effectively no use and is causing all kinds of problems. Only played about 5 games last season because of it and compensating trouble with my knee.
Take the break, as Super Rovers said, behave and do what the physio tells you. It's a long season. Best of luck with it.

We're looking good. 22 training last Thurs night, B team mixed in aswell but still plenty to be optimistic about. Our problem last year was we only had access to our minors in 50% to 60% of games. Now that there are 6 or 7 of that team full junior players, we have added legs to an experienced team. We gave both Wembley and Summerville a scare towards the end of last season before collapsing in the second half of those games. We're as good as any team in the division on our day, and this year we plan on having more of those days than last. Only the top 2 scored more goals than us in 1a last year but we leaked too many goals. We didn't have a settled back 4 once all season. Thats about to change aswell. I honestly think we can win 1a. But thats just my opinion. A good start is massive.
