With Prospect ya know what ya get their team hasn't changed at all , Moyross different kettle of fish especially with new players since we played them. I go with Cals to beat the 'Lish , Hyde and Athlunkard to draw and Toldo and Co to sneak into the Final.

Know what you mean ok AP but league results more important at this stage, ye are in the final so ye will take who ever gets there but a draw in the cals match and a win for Mungret would suit you i think. What ever happens good luck to every one Sunday

I hear ya , totally, results could go very well for us fingers crossed. But we'll see sunday and to be honest the position we're in at this stage of the season I would not swap.

Was a chance to give a few lads that haven't got much of a run yet this season a game today. Fairplay to them too they all stepped up and did a good job. We led 1-0 up till the 86th minute when a harsh deflection looped over our keeper. Mungret pushed on to try get a winner but it wasn't to be.

Was a chance to give a few lads that haven't got much of a run yet this season a game today. Fairplay to them too they all stepped up and did a good job. We led 1-0 up till the 86th minute when a harsh deflection looped over our keeper. Mungret pushed on to try get a winner but it wasn't to be.

We scored early to kill the game off. Moyross are a team for the future lots of young handy players.

Well played Coonagh , we weren't at the races at all today, missing bodies and only for one of our lads coming from a wedding it might have been worse. As Jof said we didn't kick on till 20 mins left but sure way too late then his boys played a blinder tho.

I was under the impression the Cup Final wont be played till the last saturday in April. was in at the LDMC myself last tues (disciplinary hearing with my buds haha) and the fixtures secretary said he'd a few games to go yet before he'd get to our Final. What happened with Moyross ? They'd have let you believe they would give Prospect a right old game but sure I cant imagine it was a close game.

it wasnt a close game, Ned came off injured with a half hour to go and prospect had used all their subs so they only played with 10 men and scored 4,

Think the earlier kick off probably had an affect on Moyross C. Like a lot of teams in the lower divisions I bet the numbers or at least the best players weren't available. There was a debs on locally so there might have been a few at that possibly.

I suppose we will get a taste of ye so AP in the league match before the final. Should be a good day out looking forward to it. If its the last saturday in April the promotion places will be settled by the id say.

I know a few, well if not Premier then at least 1B players, im not complaining im just saying with the squad they signed no team had a chance, and as for Moyross A, im not sure, but no bodys talkin bout 2A, were talkin bout 4.

D1B players are not allowed to play in D4 cup, plus its illegal for players who are signed in any div to play in a dev lower than them ie if a club have a team in d1B they cant play the players in D4 but they can the other way round, so if you know of any Prospect players signed for the A team and playing for the B team, you should put in a complaint

You can't stop players playing a lower level if they want. Some might not be able to commit to a team in a higher level. Some players might be signed to a 1A or 1B team and not be good enough for those divisions or might not get a game. To stop someone stepping down would be un fair on the player. Its tough to come up against a team with players that can play a higher level but its up to each team to go out and give everything to try beat them. Prospect while having only dropped two points all season have had some tough games and they will admit that themselves. I'm sure there are games they have played that easily could have finished as draws or in some cases even a loss.

Christ I must have been asleep its all going on now !!!! Boys boys boys Prospect won the league fair and square. They have NO illegal players (unlike some teams in this Div present company excluded) they beat who they had to and as they say the league table never lies !!! Ya take them out of our Div and it would've been some title race but they won it ( well its a formality barring a colossal down fall) and won it well hats off !!! Fella's should be proud of this Div this year the quality was exceptional for the LDMC's lowest Div maybe even better than some of the higher leagues. Someone else will have a chance to win it next year includin ourselves cos it looks like Prospect/Caherconlish to be promoted and I think the teams coming down are no great shakes.Well done to Ger (Prospect manager) for getting those guys to sign it was a master stroke but chances are that B team will move higher than 3B next season I'd nearly bet on it.

Was talking to one of the Prospect lads and they asked L.D.M.C to put the B team up in to Div 2 B with their neighbours Hyde and Weston at the start of the season.
They said they had a big squad signed and they wanted to go back in to the division that they pulled out of 2 seasons ago when they had no one to manage the team.
So lads dont blame them they can only play their fixtures every week.
Their A team manager at the start of the season told some of the players to go to the B team that he dident need them but thats all changed now since a couple of weeks ago when a new manager took over the A team.

They should have gone in at 3A cause thats the division they had got promoted to and then pulled out. Killmallock won 3B and Prospect came second.

I don't think they will be bumped up any further than 3B. They might not have the same squad next season, a lot changes over the summer. Look at teams from year to year, one year a team can be quality fighting at the top of the league and the year after be down in the relegation area, especially clubs that have more than 1 team. I can see a few players from the B team signing for Prospect A next year.
