hyde will struggle..too many young players they seem to fade in the last 20 mins of most games..no real striker either my opinion

Shortage of referees because of the FAI Junior Cup. Probably going to be a few more matches off too.

Their striker John Paul Mccormack has the same amount of goals as Ger Ned (8).

Im only ball hopping :). I went for them to beat coonagh based on getting a draw off Athlunkard and beating Croom so they must be doing something right as they were two good results.

Everybody barr Prospect seem to be dropping points. Second will be up for grabs but the way other teams are dropping the points Prospect will be out of sight by Christmas.

We can only beat who is in front of us. I dont think the LDMC do much moving like that up through the divisions. We won division 3B, 10 years ago and we won 18 games from 18 and still we were only moved up 1 division. We have a big squad and its a different team every week.

ya we were missin half the side that played against croom the week before but no excuses the lads on the pitch didnt perform and athlunkard deserved the win second place seems to be wide open should be interesting towards the end of the season

i can say from personal experience what a good manager val ward is and hel bring alot of very good players with him probably a bit late to try get promoted now tho

Have suspicions this happened us too. Our match ball was no where to be seen after the game when the teams had changed. Couldn't be sure about it but if they have done it previously no reason it didn't happen again.

Hye deserved the win in the end as they had all the pressure. It looked like we would hold out for 1-1 but Hyde managed to grab a goal with 4 mins to go. We had chances to snatch it against the run of play but couldn't convert.

Prospect 3 Coonagh 1

Close game throughout. Prospect went 2 nil up and with 10 mins to go Coonagh scored to set up a tence finish till Prospect added a third.

Ya it was a close game. Our lads worked hard all day in one of our best performances so far. Thought we might have snuck the draw near the end till prospect scored the third. If we can keep that work ethic up we will do well for the rest of the season. Good game all in all.

Not sure if moyross had any new players but they looked way better yesterday than their results so far. They should have gone 1 up as our keeper made a great save and their striker hit the post with the rebound. We took the lead with a super 25 yard effort after some clever passing opened space for the shot. 2 more cracking goals sent Athlunkard in at half time with a slightly flattering 3 goal lead. An early goal in the second half killed the game off and after sloppy play at the back left Moyross get a goal back Athlunkard got another late on as it finished 5-1. Moyross have some good player and they had huge squad and will trouble teams as the league progresses

i didnt realise they hadnt played croom yet theyl be 2 good games if the fixtures play out the same way in the second half of the season they could have a huge impact on promotion
