Mungret 4-0 up when i went away a comprehensive win for them that puts them right up there. We will have to wait for A.Ps assesment about the game.

Superb display from our lads , we went one up very early and had an easy second soon after. 18mins in we went down to ten men and I felt that could go against us but our lads held tough and kept their shape. Another early goal in the second half ended the contest the lish then had a man sent off and we scored our fourth and that was that it was blown up early. the ref in my eyes had a shocker both red cards weren't reds. The 'Lish disappointed me but look I'm bloody delighted with our performance. On another note I heard Northside hammered Athlunkard 4-1 , I hope this isnt a case of Northside packing their B team cos if it is its a disgrace but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and put it down to Villa not playing for months.

It will go down to the wire now for promotion. Fair play to mungret after they had a bad start in the league they are on a good run now.

Good result for us. I would of though the Lish would of been stronger and the game tighter but it was not the case.
Coonagh's result also made the 3 points today even sweeter for Mungret, a 6 pointer you could say.

We are mad for a game I hope we finally get to play one next sunday.

Northside were the better team and had it not been for the saves from Athlunkard's keeper it could have been a larger margin. Athlunkard players were not up for the game at all and paid for it. Well done to Northside!!

Well the match was 0-0 for 30 mins but once we scored we added 2 more fast ones. The match was also played for the full 90 mins as both teams wanted to play on since it had been ages before either played. Ger Ned can play in any division, our manager asked Ger to give him a season because it was his first year as a manager and they are good mates. Most of our players are 18/19 and they are learning a lot from him so its great to have him on the team and im sure he is enjoying himself which is what its all about.

Players like Ger Ned only come along once in a while hes 38 years of age and hes won Premier trophies with Prospect when he was 18 so he was always going to come back to the club.

It had everything. Cals had the opening chance early on but failed to convert. They were on top for half hour till Prospect started to get into it and on the stroke of half time a corner was met by Ger ned which was going in but the Cals center half stuck out his hand and stopped it. Red card and a peno which Ned converted.

Second half was end to end and with 20 mins left 10 man Cals levelled after a ball over the top was blasted in by the striker. 15 mins to go a long ball over the cals defence led to a mix up with the keeper and defender and Ned pounced to round the keeper 2-1 Prospect. A few mins later A.Collins scored and over head kick to put prospect 3-1. That looked to be that till Cals scored with 10 mins to go to set up a nail biting finish but Prospect held on.

Tight game I think we just shaded it though , but man oh man that pitch out there is a scandal !!!! It resembled a bog thats been condemned !!!! Atrocious no ball could be played and it says it all that when the final whistle went both myself and the Croom manager had to figure which ball was which and the they were different type of balls

this result is harder to take than the 6 0 earlier in the season given the effort all our lads put in the sending off proved the difference but wel play worse than that and beat most sides

If ye played like that all season ye would be only a couple of points off us. Ye battled well even though ye had 10 men and deserved something for the effort ye put in. It will make the cup game very interesting if we get past northside.

AP, i said ages ago that field should never be allowed to be used for any sport. Steven Kelly is still out injured over the hole he twisted his ankle in on that field. The goal mouth at the bottom is a health hazzard.

I think theres a rule there regarding how many A players you have to have signed.
Dont think you can have no A team players and all B team players.
Thats why the Touhy Cup is for all A team players in the Premier league its to stop them packing their B team.

The chances are one of the teams would have to give a walkover if the A and B team clash. I know you have said it hasn't happened yet this season but look at us for example. Our A and B team matches clashed last weekend, are clashing this weekend and have clashed twice earlier in the season also.

i dont think fixtures clashing would be a huge problem we have enough lads to cover both games its the fact that if someone plays in the a cup they would be cup tied for the b cup and none of our lads seem to want that
