Why would ye be surprised that Ger Ned signed for Prospect he was winning PREMIER Trophies with Prospect before he ever signed for Carew and after all he is from Prospect.

Just surprised that he's signing with the b team and going to play in div 4.

good workout for both teams and evenly matched in the first half with prospect winning one nil at half time, their experience showed in the second half against a very young coonagh team scoring two without reply. Think prospect will be the side to beat this season if they can keep this team together and reckon this match in the league wil be a humdinger, best of luck to Prospect and coonagh this season

heard talk friday night that all the lower leagues starting 17th / 18th / 19th august midweek and 1a /preimer starting weekend 22nd but nothing confirmed .. how much effort would it take from league to contact clubs to confirm when leagues kick -off or just put it up on league website :mad:

Cheers grinder, coonagh have a good team themselves. The field is perfect for football out there and look forward to playing there again. It would of been closer if one of the offside calls went thier way.

Ya agree with everything you said. We should have gone one up only for a poor finish not taking our chance. Red card changed the game. Was silly for the player to trip the man as he passed him but we thought red was harsh from where we were standing. Three more defenders back and the Caherconlish player was going towards touch. Our og should never have been if the Kepper had come to collect. The defender was under no pressure and was harsh on him to score an og after having a good game. Some of our players got lazy at 2-1 and allowed a ball be delivered across the box which the Caherconlish player finished.

Steven Kelly came on in the second half and when he gets back to fitness i'd say there is plenty of goals in him aswell.

Caherconlish 2-1 Mungret Regional Good game Mungret Regional took lead early on with a bit iof a deflection Caherconlish were on top most of 1st half and got a well deserved equaliser just before half time Caherconlish began 2nd half same way and eventually took the lead soon though and for a lot of the 2nd half Mungret pressed looking for the equaliser fortunatly for us it was just beyond them as her defence held on 6 points out of 6 its great for us considering we'd 0 out of 6 this time last year

Would of been the right thing to do as goal difference dont count.

One of Northside players asked for it to be blown up but the other players wanted to have the full 90 minutes for the experince. Had they wanted to end it would have been, Most of the goal came in the last 20 mins.
Northside will get better once the find the right postions for players
