cals v connagh any taughts :ball:

If Coonagh battle like they did on sunday Cals will find it hard. Cals have a few goals in them so i think it will be a high scoring game. I will go with 4-3 :)

Will all depend on who we have this weekend. We already know we'll be short a few form last weekend. Up to the lads that come in to step up and do a job. I think Cals have been in a similar situation to us as far as having a consistant line up week in week out. So it will all depend on who can field the strongest team on the day.

This weekends fixtures:

Dromore B v Hyde Rgs B, 2.00, B Kelly Away

Athlunkard Villa B v Caherconlish B, 2.00, P O’Brien Home

Mungret Regional C v Prospect Priory B, 2.00, T Meagher Away

Northside B v Moyross C, 2.00, R McCann Draw

Coonagh B v Caledonians B, 2.00, S Rooney

As the scoreline suggests, it was an off day for our attackers. We tried everything to score but Mungret battled well to keep the ball out. We hit the cross bar in the last min with the keeper beat. Mungret went close aswell with a few shots. We will have to step up and play better next time if we want to win the league. Best of luck to Mungret.

A very entertaining game , if there was a winner I dont think anyone deserved to lose. Toldo pulled off a superb save during the second half and Prospect prob just about shaded proceedings but from our point of view it was a fantastic result/performance and hopefully gives other teams hope. I'm a bit miffed as to why fella's on here think anyone we come up against will beat us ??? We've now won three (Northside 6-0 Coonagh 4-1 Dromore 3-2 and now Prospect 0-0) we've our GAA players back but fella's are happy writing us off then continue :)

Hats off to your defenders for stopping our strikers as i think not many will shut us out this season. Your tall striker had a snap shot that just wizzed the far post. A draw was a fair result in the end. Can Mungret build on this result?

Result was never in doubt for ye. Frustrating day for the management at coonagh. Both the A and B teams struggled to get teams together with players out injured and for various other reasons which showed in both our results today. Frustrating not being able to play the same team week in week out. Faiplay to cals though they took there chances. Our lads never gave up trying though and could have possibly made it 4-2 only for a good save by the cals keeper.

Heard dromore beat Hyde also.

I no. Look at the start and form we have and we could be only 4 points clear after sunday. We need to go on another run not to keep the gap open. Makes it interesting atleast.

Yes but that means the other team(s) not dropping points at all !!!! we proved sunday that if you get stuck in and play in your face football prospect can be stopped !!! They're a good team but by no means unbeatable !!! I've often seen good ball playing teams brought down to a Divisions level by the teams around them. Who's to say Ned will stay injury free ? Who's to say winterish soft ground wont agree with their style of play ? They've only dropped 2 points and deserve a lot of respect but when the games starts thats where the respect should end. The teams around should lift their game also for ALL games this is a good division IMO and any team apart from or two would be comfortable in a league two Div's up IMO.

i agree totally no side is unbeatable but theyve been the most consistent so far that doesnt mean theyl win the league but you can only go on the table and form but unless one of the sides behind goes on a great run noone wil catch them looking at results so far the 4 or 5 sides behind prospect have all taken points off each other

Dead right gk10 but have they met teams who've been fully kitted out e.g: a full squad to choose from ? we were missing our gaaaaaaaa players up to the start of this month. Lets see other teams step up to the plate now and put too them and really get this league going.

i dont know about other teams but we were really stuck for players the night we played them weve really struggled to get our best 11 out on the pitch this season dont think weve had our best side 2 games in a row yet

I'd say no team had they're first 11 for 2 games in a row. Its a squad game as its a long season. We put out a different team every week so nobody is left out.

Hyde 0-1 Mungret C

As the result suggests very tight indeed both teams had balls cleared off the line. We were missing players from last week which showed today. I wasn't impressed with some of the oppositions tactics which included spitting. I've great time for Hyde but that stuff doesn't belong on the field. With players to come back next week we've got a good run going.

Our A-team is in FAI this sunday and B team plying too , this happened us before and our C team had no game I think its due to the other two especially A team in FAI cup. If the B team weren't playing we would have been hope this clears some of it up. But also a lot of ref's taken up with FAI.
