i dont think fixtures clashing would be a huge problem we have enough lads to cover both games its the fact that if someone plays in the a cup they would be cup tied for the b cup and none of our lads seem to want that

if they are signed on a b form they cant play in the 1B cup anyway, i might be wrong but i'm 90% sure. so by right that shouldnt affect ye in the 4a cup

Ya your right mogus. Basically there will have to be 11 players signed A I would think or the ldmc won'tbe impressed.

Fair enough as far as the league is concerned gk.

I dont think yere getting the point if yere A team give a walkover in the A cup because ye dont have an A team then yere B team should not be in the league because yere B team are illegal.
Its not what yere lads want its called playing by the leagues rules if we all got what we want then we would all have F.A.I. medals.

i understand what your saying and agree totally the problem isnt getting people to sign for our a team they have about 18 players signed but only 4 bother turning up our b team have alot of players good enough for 1b but signed wit our b team because of our managers and have put alot of effort into this season yet tru no fault of ours we could end up with all our hard work wasted

The problem is the ldmc would then tell ye that ye should have transferred up b players to cover for the a players that are gone. It's a balls because of the situation the players that left left ye in but that's the way it works.

if u play the game and lose, you wont be illegal because there will be no objection. the only way the ldmc would get involved is if there is an objection and this would only happen if cals win, but by using b players its not as if they are strenghtening there team

thats a ****in joke, clubs should collectivly refuse to pay the ref and tell them to get the money from the ldmc as they were told it was unplayable,

if the ref says its playable and the club knows that the field is going to get destroyed does it have to be played

My my my !!!! The old ugly head of the LDMC rears itself again !!!! Clubs were told start of season if pitches unplayable sat evening to ring in and that meant game cancelled. Now the goal posts are moved so "a ref" can call out sunday afternoon in his sunday best call off game and receive 21euro !!!!! Its a dictatorship in Jackman Park boys and until clubs stop voting for the same old people getting them onto the committee its gonna be the same story year on year. Nobody listened to me earlier in the season but now seem to be affected , guys I dont rant for the sake of ranting. Whats needed is young people e.g: 25+ getting onto the committee to run things instead of some of the dinosaurs there already ruining our leagues and "looking after" certain clubs. It should be run fairly or not run at all.

There is no way the club will allow us play on the pitch tomorrow. It will be ruined for the next few weeks at the very least, meaning all the kids matches and junior matches will have to be cancelled for the next few weeks. The LDMC don't seem to be thinking about this though.

Sickens me to think that we have to pay the ref €21 tomorrow for nothing and add into that we will lose home advantage. Both pitches are unplayable tomorrow so if the LDMC decided to call it off today then we would keep home advantage because Hyde are in the same position as us tomorrow. If the ref calls it off we lose it.

Coonagh 2-2 Hyde
(Coonagh win 8-7 on Pens)

Match just about went ahead today. Pitch is destroyed at the moment. Felt we where the better team throughout but Hyde hung on in there. Equalised with 7mins to go to bring it to extra time. THen in the last min of extratime the Hyde centre foward went in one on one with our keeper only to hit the post. Pens could have gone either way as usual but we managed to come out on top. For the conditions that where there i thought we played nice football. Kept it on the ground and knocked it around.

O’Neill’s Soccer Div 4

Coonagh B v Northside B, 2.15, E Noonan

Prospect Priory 5-0 v Moyross, 2.15, S Rooney

Mungret Reg 2-1 Athlunkard Villa, 2.15, M Bateman

Hyde B 1-3 Caherconlish B, 2.15, L O’Sullivan

Dromore Celtic 1-2 Croom B, 2.15, J Curran

Our game won't go ahead. Pitch got destroyed yesterday. Two players came off injured because of how cut up it was all the way down the middle of the pitch. It would have to be dry all week and probably rolled to be playable.

Very true AP and by the skin of our teeth in the end too ha

Just found out one of our players that got injured near the end of the game Sunday has to go to a specialist as it looks like he might have broke something in his ankle. All that happened was he went into a divet caused from playing on the pitch and went over on his ankle. Unless the groundsman has done amazing work on our pitch this week it has to be off or there will be a big risk of this happening to someone else.

Very disappointed to have our good run ended but we just weren't at the races. Mistakes all over the field cost us , i could complain bout missing players but it was just one of those days. 5mins of madness mid-way thru second half saw us concede 3 goals. Villa were good for their win in the end.

A completely diff performance from our lads today got us back on track and we were by a mile the better team. We had a man sent off at 2-1 but took our chance on the break. I thought Villa took the foot off the peddle today.

Ye should concentrate on staying in 1 B and forget about promotion in 4 A.
4 A is between Prospect and Caherconlish.

Losing to Hebertstown this morning won't help staying in 1B. Throw in that Dromore seem to be a bit better than earlier in the season its a big ask. Was always going to be tough for Cals today, a big relegation match in the morning and a tough game against Hyde in the afternoon.

Next Round:
Coonagh B vs Caherconlish B
Prospect vs Cals

Mungret awaiting the winner of Coonagh and Caherconlish and Moyross waiting on the winner of Prospect and Cals.

Agree there Francesco, the title will be all but wrapped up if ye win. Should be a good game. Cals where gutted with there loss but they aren't out of the promotion race yet as they still have a game in hand on Mungret. I still fancy Caherconlish to hold on for promotion but there is still plenty of football left to play. When the midweek matches come back there can always be a few suprises with teams having more regular games and getting numbers for midweek games can be tough.

I'd say league more or less over by then fella's(1st week in April) as we've only 6 games remaining with another this weekend to leave 5 left. Cups i'd imagine will be kept to weekends well i hope they are cos it gives a fair reflection on teams e.g: fella's who normally work midweek are always there on sundays.

We have 7 matches to go and then one more in the cup, possibly more so that leaves 8 weeks of football. If you throw in some matches called off and some mid-week games making up for it it should still even up at around 7 or 8 weeks left in the season. This division was over very early last year though. The start of March I think and the cup went on longer than the league. We still had 4 or 5 matches left to play in 3A when this division finished up.

Dromore have supposedly pulled out so i'll go for an Athlunkard win there ha. 3 points will go to all the teams left to play them. If prospect beat Caherconlish this weekend they will get the 3 points from that game and the 3 points from Dromore by Monday. 6 points in one weekend and Caherconlish dropping the 3 (if they lose to Prospect) will mean the league is over. If Mungret win and get the 3 points off Dromore they will move ahead of Caherconlish. This looks like its going to be a big weekend in this division. Caherconlish have already played Dromore twice and picked up maximum points so won't recieve anymore.

And next they have to play Pike A team in the lawson !!!

Teams in Div 4 pulling out wont suffer any penatly really, as they cant be dropped any more divisions and will just go back into division 4 next year.

if club pulls out of league .. should they then be allowed to re-enter again next year it may need league to deceide on this as effectivly they are escaping any punishement for pulling out of league .

They done the right thing survival in 1 B has to be their priority the further they go down the harder it is to get up.
A B team isent going to be much good to you if your using the same players for both teams every week just look at Cals results last week.
Maybe they should do the same.
