new market looking dull for the year... its early yet but i wudn hold my hopes up for them.. avenue doing very well,,, ye lost the great rival battle to rinneanna rovers,, a mediocar team... bridge utd also doing well so far but it is early yet.....
Can we get a translator on here? Good man, writing off a team when there's nearly three quarters of the league campaign to go

How come nobody is talking about Bridge United on this. I see that they are 3rd at the moment in the Premier with a game in hand over Rineanna and Avenue and if they win their game in hand it moves them to second not too far off Avenue. Their 'B' team are also unbeaten in the 2nd Division at the moment. I know the league is still at an early stage but I think the Bridge 'A' and 'B' teams have a great chance at honours this season.

Totally early day’s lads. Long way to go yet. A lot of clubs have only played 1 or 2 games. Its fine winning when you are playing regularly but all the games called off it can be hard to get things going again. This is why the leagues will open up in the New Year. Best of luck to all involved.

there are 12 games to go for most teams, anyone can win the premier league,
rock hammering rineanna a few weeks ago shows that even newly promoted teams can mix it with established premier teams

Does anyone know the transfer window for the Limerick teams, is it the same as ours in January? And any tips for players moving? Cheers.

Good win for Killarney - maybe deserved it over the 90 mins although had we taken our chance it could have been a different story , in fact I would say we had more chances that them over the 90 mins - best of luck to them -
Funny thing is that there manager rang our county FAI rep { not allowed to mention names } and asked what kind of a team were we and whats the best way to play us - and my b******ks duely oblidged , fair play to him:rolleyes: - - not making excuses but you cant do that !

I sure was, don't think i have ever seen a worse performance from a Premier team in all my days (and there has been a lot of them). I'm on about the Burren. Their keeper asked our sub-goalie for a loan of his gloves before kick-off. It's this type of stuff that gives Clare soccer a bad name but will always go on in my opinion with clubs who don't care. Easy victory and should have been double figures to be honest. 4 great strikes from Daithi O'Connell, 2 from Ryan Kelly and 1 apiece from Ally McMillan and Pa Twomey. Great to see the ex-rineanna lads settling in so well:D

saw the 2nd half
great town derby end to end stuff, fast and exciting,
some great last ditch defending kept avenue out for some prolonged spells
, draw could have been a fair result but not to be for the league leaders. good to see promoted teams holding their own in the premier.
so is it fair to say, avenue and rock are the only premier representatives left in the munster junior

What I'm saying is that the Killarney manager phoned the FAI rep for Munster ? who lives in the west and asked on how we play - the rep duely advised - i assume he had his rep hat on at the time but this dosn't justify it - apparently it was said that if you wanted to beat Rineanna you need to park the bus on the 18 yard line , use the allowed 11 players that must be at least 6'6" { sorry LL you lose this one } , former foregin legion operators and that not to worry the ref had been paid off ! - this is the only way to beat them , and this is exactly what they did :D

A couple of changes made alright but with such a big squad the manager has to do what he can - still had 17 togged

Speaking as a member of the consortium { which has increased by the way } I agree it would be a shame - he has put in alot of work there and to be repaid like this is shocking ;) - - - its a thankless job as we all know - hopefully its a rumer only - which i would say it is - NOF have alot of goals set for this season and to fall apart at this early stage wouldn't have been on the agenda

reading the limerick thread their oscar preparations/interest seemd to be a shambles. 12 players(2 keepers) travelling to cork midweek, no medical kit no food after.
as much as people give out about our own set up, they have genuine interest in competition progression and the players welfare

Question -
Does a player need to actually sign a form in order to be eligible to play or can it be signed for on his behalf with consent - its just that I know a player who will be playing with a particular club and there may be a question of his eligibility -
Anyone know
