You're a poet, don't you know it!

Let's go on the road together: we can offer da ham and eminence grise sandwich. Anyone from Mayo willing to spread (!) the news and make a three-way partnership? (Enda, are you out there...?)

You could also offer a sambo/roll containing the world famous "Cheeses of Nazareth"..

Men, normally overweight men who wear rugby jerseys with under armour underneath when out and about or in the pub... that Canterbury or whatever make stuff that "athletes" wear, I mean what do they think they look like?

That's clearly some kind of sexual innuendo.

I'm tempted to tell you to zip it, but that would be labouring the point, and anyway your post gave me a laugh when I needed one!!

It could be worse, you could be a harps fans.

Though actually, that might save you some hassle with the whole human emotions thing :D

Using the football expressions 'he's not an international standard player', and 'the sign of a great team is winning when not playing well'. They're both bull****.

I'd had "he should have hit the target" to that. Also, people thinking that hitting the post is a shot on target.

Can i add, people who say "he missed a penalty" when in fact the keeper saved it.

It wasn't missed it was saved...

Hit it wide or over and its a miss.

Notify the attending Guard. It's illegal to have election promotional material within 50 yards of a polling station.

Then run like f---- before the Shinners see you!

horton

At least you don't vote in the North. My local polling station is a primary school, and every election day I have to run the gauntlet of around 6-7 people at the gate shoving an election flyer in my face. Another Sinn Fein tactic is sending people around the doors to check you have voted, if not you get a speech about why you should vote for them(I know for a fact some of the people that came to my door are former provo's!), not THAT is intimidating.

I've long thought the solution to that is to remove any legal consequences of running over such people. And allowing one to sue the estate of the deceased for the cost of the panel-beating and respray. And I am (or at least was) a cyclist.

Someone once wrote that when he was a driver, he hated pedestrians, and vice versa, but he always hated cyclists. I just find people contemptable.

As someone who does both, I can say that when you're a biker, you hate drivers and when you're a driver, you hate bikers.

It's been a while since I read the Highway code. I know when there is no footpaths, pedestrians are meant to walk on the oncoming traffics side of the road, is there any such rule for cyclists?
Plus, If cyclists ever give off about you trying to kill them, remind them you pay for the privilege to be on the road, they don't so it's their own fault if they get hit:D

Cyclists don't use the footpath. You're supposed to treat them like a tiny, crushable vehicle, possibly in the control of an idiot. Just like a car, but smaller and crushable.

And when he kicks off your wing mirror and disappears up an alley (which I once witnessed - the driver definitely earned it), remember that paying tax doesn't entitle you to be an *******.

think in the niorth they're supposed to stay something like 300mm/1 foot away from the kerb/road edge, and cycle single file. hate these mass swarms of road cyclists that i've encountered recentlyin tyrone, eejits have turned a 50min drive into an hour and half.

My mother sending home caffiene free root beer from Florida with my dad. Like wtf mum! I just had 3 glasses trying to keep me awake to go collect Jake and then realise I may as well have been drinking water. Was yummy though, especially teamed with a bowl of lucky charms (minus the non-veggie marshmallows). Almost convinced myself am in USA. Sure am still on Ann Arbor time anyhow.

people at funerals pushing relatives of the deceased out of the way in an effort to follow the coffin. saw a couple of my (very distraught) aunts getting pushed aside recently at my granda's funeral, really really really wanted to punch someone in the face.
