Damo Mullins was sub aswell. Forgot about him...scott played right full ya. Did well first half but was one of a handful who faded after the hour. Ger Fitz is away on holidays. Darren Clancy is just back. We're short bodies...3 of the lads there tonight are signed for the b team

so who were ye missing, other than ger fitz & ian dore?

Dave Smith. When i say we're short bodies i mean we're working with a group of about 16. When you take the fellas missing out of that it leaves you with b players to cover them. The team last night was short 3-4 of what i'd consider our strongest eleven

bit harsh coming from you i think. you ve hardly set the world alight with athlunkard in div 2a. Corbally may well get relegated but they have stayed up the last few years when everyone wrote them off. they re is 3 or 4 teams that may struggle. only 1 game gone. all to play for.

just giving my opinion, no need to get personal! if corbally stay up it's because geraldines and mungret aren't good enough and mungret are a better side than corbally in my opinion but only time will tell...

Harsh??? have you seen them play?? and the only reason why they stayed up the last 2 seasons was down to favours!!!!!!! they'll be relegated this year (and if you want a bet on that PM me) , we weren't good enough to go up last season, I agree with you there, but as far as this season goes...........only time will tell, but we look a lot better now than we did 12months ago.......As for staying in the 1A thread, spare me, your not even playing Junior football but yet try to tell me where to go.....ha ha your a funny man

poor result i will admit but were missing a few big players early days if we pick up 3 points sunday will mean 4 points ahead of regional jason knows hes best 11 we will take stopping when we have our best 11 out on the pitch i tip mungret to stay up

Fairview were completely out played, and derserved to be beaten. Mungret really should have taken 3 pts. Considering you can only afford to draw 3 - 4 times in the season view must be kicking themselves as they took mungret for granted and even when they went ahead they acted like it was a forgone conclusion that they would win. Why think that when they were totally outplayed for the whole game. Conny must be smiling at that result. View v Regional sunday is now a massive game for both teams. Trust me bar 10 mins of madness thursday night Regional were easily on a par with the boro and that was without a number of starters ( 3 0f the back 4 missing ) who will be available on sunday.

Well done to Dara Droog it must be said, Mungret looked really organised and very fit and all with an outfielder in goals.

Mungret played well alright however its only 1 game and one that it was always going to be very easy for them to get up for, while the view were imo just getting the fixture out of the way thinking they had nothing to do but play.
It will be a long season for Mungret that said they looked decent on the night.

agree lads mungret should of pulled off a massive shock last night view back 4 all over the place they need to get that sorted molonely and alan barry would eat them alive.

excellant win for the boro i heard they played some lovely stuff maybe an outside chance for the title.

good win also for balla and ul. corbally gerldines and carew to scrap at the bottom from what i was told carew were so poor thursday night and will be a long season for them commitment not there through out the club
