think boro are best chance to win it view have problems heard grant+curtain gone to boro balla have a poor defence all 4 of them poor
Shane Doran is the best left full in town.Spud mac is well able to play centre half too.gareth ryans too slow but with slattery, mcnamara, daly and doran is a good back 4.

I can name at least 4 better left fulls in town better than him. M.Sheenan P.McGarry D.Hanley J.Corbett.
I agree the 3 of them are slow and i think they are very average at best. the right full isnt that bad handy enough.
a bit average!! ya they might not have the legs anymore but they have been one of the best defences in the premier league for the last 4 or 5 years and i can't see this season being any different,it was G Ryans first game back yesterday after a harsh suspension:p:p and i think they'll be a lot more solid in the comin weeks, whateverthe legs are lacking the brain makes up for imo

lads the amount of people on here that do nothing but talk rubbish is unreal, its a premier league thread why not stick to it.pike still favourites for the league but think boro will be up there too as for the view purcell has done a fine job up there so i think he should be left alone.if balla can get it together think they will have a good year but wont win league will be very interesting though.

Both Corbett and McGarry played left full a few times even tho its not there preferred position in my opinion they are still bettere left fulls. Sheehan has being the oscar traynor left full for the last 3seasons.
I just think Hanley is a better player

corbett played a lot of games left full for pike even though he is a right full, shane doran is a good left full but think mcgarry is well better than him.
QUOTE=handyfullback;1227491]i have to say im shocked at this anti- fairview thing on this thread.. more to the point anti-jason purcel. fairview players, supporters and committee members have always conducted themselves in the highest regard in victory and defeat, i hope for one that jason stays on he's attempting to bring the club back to the top, as for a few posts today from players within the view about purcel, the old sayin goes that no player is bigger than the club, so granty, have your little spit and best of luck up in the boro!! you've let yourself and the club down with your rant!!
even if it is a stich up there is hassle with players up in the view 2players told me they signed letters to the commitee for purcell to go im only going on what they said:confused:

Best left full in town in my opinion biased as it is and all that is James o donnel of summerville. Was the oscar traynor left full and decided to give it up over work commitments...

Oh how the snowball expands!!
As an officer of Fairview Rangers i feel obliged to put the rubbish talk on this site to rest.Firstly there are no knives out as some would have you believe for Jason. We strongly believe we have a great young manager in charge and the only way he wont be in charge come the last day of the season is if he resigns.
Also it is blatantly obvious that certain posters on this site who claim to be Fairview men are anything but-to my knowledge there involved with another certain club and all there doing is stiring it up.

lads start up a best left full thread if ye want to go down this road again.give it afew hours now and you will definately get afew posts in about "if james o donnell was ever any good he would be playing with a better team than summerville":rolleyes:there are alot of good players playing left full in the league and everyone is entitled to there opinion on who is the best one.theres been enough posts on the fairview alleged in house fighting and who the best fullback in town is.can we get back to afew match reports from last sundays games and predictions for this weekends games?

"The expanding snowball" - that cheered me up:D:D:D
Whoever Striker 9 is it was a brutal comment. Purcel's kids are playing with FAI medals. He won the Munster Junior last year and they want him out after 4 games this season. Some of these players should realise they are playing Junior Football in Limerick. Some of them think they are superstars.

Weather is supposed to pick up tomorrow and for rest of the week....I say this cautiously mind you. Light is becoming a poblem for mid week games alright. Are Mungret and regional due to play soon or have I missed the boat on that fixture (too lazy to check)

If the games do go ahead it could be a big night in the context of whos going to challenge for the league and whos going to be fighting relegation. If both 'Dines and Corbally loose they'll be 6/7 points off safety which will be very hard to come back from. Its been a while since the view beat Pike, but with all the ****e talk on here all week it could unite the view so i wouldnt be surprised if they get a result on Thursday, if they loose they'll be 8 points behind Pike. Balla always play well in the boro, i think the surface suits them, will be very tight game, the winner will be in a great position. Mungret V Regional should be tasty for obvious reasons.

A lot of goals in our match should be close, dines and corbally finding it hard at present they could do with picking up a few points i wonder would it be a better option for the dines to play on the green instead of going to ratuard.
