Good win for the 'Boro'...............
ya good result for us today we should have been 2 up at half time we never took our chances...wembely went 1 up 5 minutes into the second half but after that it was all boro could have been 4 or 5..morgan made a few good saves and the ref disallowed james hayes his hatrick for offside when he was clearly on:eek::ball:
had mungret a full team
kilmallock missing 5 starters and had 3 b team players starting and should have won.
i'll have that pint next sunday kid ya :p

Of course he is getting paid like most other managers in the league, why not?
Because it's supposed to be an amatuer league?
leather

where does it say that is is an amatuer league?
The forms ask if you are professional or amatuer.

Heard on radio this morning that our two former players Brian Cleary and Brendan Daly have signed with Pike, good additions, how they can keep that squad happy is beyond me, too many similar players, can't see them getting in ahead of McGarry and Corbett.

thats two good additions to pike to make their squad even stronger, given their leag of ireland experience they wont be signing to stay on the bench and obviously in mind in terms of success in this years FAI.the pressure will be on conny to deliver given these latest investments.

Cleary was signing with Aisling until Pike offered cash or should I say expenses, i have no problem with this but would love to know where Pike are getting the cash to put into the brown envelopes each week. A3 or A4 I here you say.
Now that you have misplaced your violin, Connie will have one out to you in a Jiffy, sorry could not resist.

cleary was signing with aisling until he realised he wants to win trophys on a regular basis and play on a good pitch.this talk of money pike are paying is getting boring imo no junior club in town are paying players no junior club would survive if they had to pay players.look at all the league of ireland clubs down the years that went bust and they had one or two hundred paying supporters and good sponsership.

I think Connie is paying off the students with rabbits, how many rabbits could you get into a brown envelope? Anyway however ingenious it seems to be it has its flaws.Bear with me
If you apply the the law of diminishing marginal utility whereby the extra utility derived from a good, declines as more of the good is consumed. This has a direct bearing on the students demands for the rabbits, the demand price, and the law of demand. If the satisfaction obtained from a good declines, then buyers are willing to pay a lower price, hence demand price is inversely related to quantity demanded, which is the law of demand.
For arguement sake
Connies first rabbit in an envelope generates an extra 11 utils of satisfaction, the second rabbit provides an extra 9 utils, the third rabbit comes in with an extra 7 utils, and so forth. The declining marginal utility numbers--11, 9, 7, etc.--illustrate the law of diminishing marginal utility. Each additional rabbit generates less extra utility than the previous one. In fact, marginal utility continues to decline until the students are less satisfied, in total, after 7 rabbits than after 6 rabbits.
In other words its not sustainable:rolleyes:
