Buller, sorry to have to point this out, but putting a zero before a number does not affect it.

not in this case anyway.

I'd be fairly sure he's just slagging Cork fans.

I don't know. I read it the same way harry crumb read it. :D He thought you were exaggerating the attendance when you put a zero at the front. :D

Those missing games in the premier should bring the averge up a good bit. Its looking good at this stage (healthy increases in averages)

Richmond Road barn was 40% full, Ballybough end was pretty much 95% full, and the lego new stand was packed full. Riverside had between 1,500 to 2,000 in it.
I keep to my 5,000 to 5,500 guess...

I stand corrected so. But still believe there was no way there was less than 5,000 if Tolka holds 9,900... I've pics to show the ground was definately at least half full... (Please note- I would count heads the fact that I am not a UCD supporter is a major inhibiting factor)

Far to early to say though.

Attendances in early part of a season will always track higher than the full-yera's trend, as support falls away for most teams as the drudgery kicks in.

Happens every year.

Rovers-Bohs was 4,300

The Rovers - Bohs had 4,300 who paid at the gates. However, for this fixture, it excludes season tickets and freebees who were not counted because of the large crowd! Actual attendance was > 4,300 but is a guess! I would probably go with 4,500. I would also have guessed approx 5,000 based on the footage SRFC TV had from the game but apparently it was less.

Shels are very glad to take our money. Looking forward to seeing how you begin coping without that source of income from 2009 onwards. Sorry if the truth hurts, but the place is falling apart and you know it.

OT, but what are Shel's plans for a ground in the medium term? When do they have to move out of Tolka (notwithstanding that the current property slowdown might delay things) and where do they plan to go then?

Rubbish, a new coach one or two players and a couple of wins and the place will be rocking again. Rugby season's nearly over as well so less local competition on match night...

We're six games into the season ffs.....

I was being slightly sarcastic/drunk. But 500 times E20 is E10k lost in one match, which you lost badly (by all accounts), which means the trend's unlikely to reverse next match anyway. Given you lost E80k last year, you can't afford to be going down E10k a match really.

Impossible to tell really. Assuming everyone went in the ends they were supposed to, then I'd say about 400/300 UCD/Drogheda. But I didn't get a proper look at the stand to see how full it was and where.

Assuming everyone went in the ends they were supposed to.Looked that way when Drogheda scored, very clear dividing line between people cheering and not. How many were on each side I don't know but our side of the roofed area was pretty full.
