Same for Treaty. Was there even 200 there?
546 was the attendance and is on FAI Connect.
The figures don't always go up straight away but do usually.

560 in MH Park last night. A drop from the regular 650s during the summer. The wait for a home league win continues.

Does RK attend any Cobh games anymore?
Yes, still shows up every now and then to the home fixtures.
Dundalks figures are bizarrely consistent. 2659 . 2689. 2775. 2738. 2674. 2738 for last 6 years ignoring 2020 and 2021.
When you take into account the changes of teams in the division and changes in dundalks performances it's a statistical anomaly.
Large town, but still only 45k max in greater region, even in SK era crowds got over 3k for maybe 5 or 6 games a season max, a few exceptions were 4k+ but static other than that. There was no post covid 'bounce' for us as this is the base / pool figure, what is clear though is 500+ are not turning up as we are not winning leagues.
Again back to the SK era, some great crowds, but more than often a lazy turnout. That said and into this era the club appears to be doing very little to encourage more support, they seem content on twitter / fb etc. Prob up to 1k ST holders, that's not bad, but probably also the current limit, think it was 1.5k in SK years.

7800 in Tallaght on Friday.
Is that near enough a full house?
What's the latest on when the new stand will open? It loooked structurally complete when the Derry game was on TV there, with the seats seemingly the main thing to do on the outside.

Apparantly it might be ready for the very end of October but realistically will be next Season, supply chain issues but also the fit out of offices/shops etc within the stand.
7800 is a complete sell out as with the gaps between fans for security and some meshing that is a 150ish more than i would have expected.
there were people standing randomly around the ground and sitting in aisles. Couldnt have squeesed anymore in.

And well over 1,100 of that figure were Pats fans! Great to see over 3,000+ Shels fans were able to come out for a home game!

What's the point in putting meshing over some seats that would have been sold? I've noticed it a good bit in Tallaght, front few rows all blocked off
Cork do it in the away end in Turner's Cross too, well they did when we use to be their rivals for titles and would sell out that end

Figures as we're now into the final round of fixtures. Premier Division set to break attendance records going into the next week or so. Highly doubtful UCD vs Derry will break the record tomorrow night, but next weekends two Premier Division games should see it over the line. It will likely be the final round of fixtures before we know for sure whether the First Division record will be broken this year again. With current trends, we're likely to see the overall figure reach around about 750,000 by the seasons end.

They put the mesh there to stop away fans from getting onto the pitch. We had problems with that several times before the mesh went up, has been largely eliminated since - I think Bohs fans earlier this year made their way into the Derrynane stand to celebrate a goal/jeer a small group of fans alongside them just as we scored the winner from kickoff.

I know it depends on space but a few games Ive been to in the UK they moved the advertisement hoarding out from the perimiter wall and then mesh between the two so seating wasnt taken up. 2 hurdles + mesh gave time for stewards to react but without the room mesh on the few row of seats is worth it as there is imo there is little that looks as bad, especially live on TV as fans on the pitch - when they celebrate with players strangely rather than trying to get at opposition supporters.
Anyone at the UCD v Derry game last night and able to guess the number of Derry fans in the estimated 300 attendance or were they all Derry fans!

Crowds up to this point have held up well at Harps. Was this one impacted by the nice weather, or has the brutal football finally worn out the patience of a lot of the Finn Park faithful?

The majority,it was a difficult job no doubt but he's failed in even the most basic sense of being at least organised and hard to beat, signed 2 teams now and can probably count on 1 hand how many have been a success, our best players have been Ryan Flood, Young Daithi McCallion who's not even ours and a kid that was at the club already, not great recruitment.....

Fair play to Pats. They've really kicked on in terms of support since their 2021 Cup win.

Don't remember anyone else taking as big an away crowd to Finn Park besides Derry in a long time. 100-200 would have been the max from anyone else.
Given our crap form, I don't expect much more than 1,000 home fans either.
As I understand it, an awful of lot kids tickets bought by Pat's fans. If adults turn up with kids tickets they'll be turned away at the gate.

Pretty standard practice for away days I thought lol… although some clubs now don’t let you buy kids without purchasing an adult. Can usually get away with a concession though.
With the scan and go QR code set up and the risk of disorder from away support it seems to just be the done thing the last season or two to buy kids on the basis that you have virtually no chance of 50/60 or more lads being turned away and left to roam outside. I assume even the club wanted to do this the Gardai will tell them to get them in.
Same is commonplace in GAA btw, I have been at both Ulster final and semi final v Kerry in Croke Park with Derry this year and almost every adult I have come across were saying they had the 10 euro kids tickets.

For an estimated sell out of 2,000+ how many will be from Drogheda!

Capacity of EDP for this season is 4300.

I believe the capacity has been reduced to either 4,200 or 4,300 for "healthy and safety reasons".
The ground could easily hold a 5,000 crowd without any issue.
