That's great news. Okay. Retracting my panic statements

KA talks a bit about NC in this interview for the local paper, expressing his "absolute trust and faith" in him, which I'm sure is genuine:

His omission in recent weeks looks to have been part form and a bit of injury/fitness, but also because Van Den Berg and Ajer have been excellent at CB in recent weeks.

Although he featured a fair bit last season VDB (ex-Liverpool) is really having his breakthrough season this season, and has been excellent.

While Ajer has always been in-and-out, sometimes played as one of 3 x CB's, but also often at FB, even though he's 6'5", since he's lightning quick. I think Frank may have seen him as more of a squad-only player, but this season KA has shown more faith in him and has been rewarded.

Either way, it's very much a squad game at BFC, with players being rotated/rested according to formation, opposition, fitness protection etc. Meaning the omission of any one individual for a few games shouldn't be seen as anything too significant.

For the first time this season in either Cup, BFC have picked a full-strength starting line-up for their FA Cup 5th Rd game at WHU. It includes NC, with Van Den Berg on the bench.

Get through tonights game (after being behind) and they are a good outside bet for a cup final and maybe win.

Out on pens, thought Collins played well and Kelleher was one of the nominations for man of the match.

Collins had a solid game and it was a real menace up front. Had a couple of runs out from the back that reminded me of that goal he got a few years back.

I must say Brentford were a joy to watch
