Do any of the Bitters know when the Cup game between Rovers and Sligo is likely to go ahead?

KOH
Most seem to think about the 19th on a Monday 8 O'Clock kick off.
3rd season in a row Rovers knock Shams out of the Cup?

Michls,

You realise the game he's talking about would be against Limerick right? And if ti doesn't happen they'l have a week off and a rest.

If it's played, they'l have a tough game, hopefully pick up a few injuries and have Gamble sent off.

The world does not revolve around yourselves.....

I think there is no doubt that Razor is only talking about Shelbourne....otherwise he would have not been so precise with his use of word you....;)

The more games you play the greater the risk of injuries, suspensions and betting scandals.

One can't help but wondering now about al those times you've bottled it over the last few years.

Back on topic.....anyone know when the Shels and/or Sheriff appeal will be heard?

Hate to pick up any injuries in the lower priority competitions. Replay would be a disaster.

Would this not be the second most important competition left for yous this season after the League? The Europa league Group stages is great to get there but being realistic you're not going to get out of the group, Any positive result would be just a bonus surely?

No because the money for getting points in EL is far more the the FAI cup. 1 pt is worth more than winning the cup. So the cup is a big distraction at this stage.

Good to see you're still keeping your options open.
And to think you deny being a closet Shams fan.

That was 2010, last season. We knocked Shams out in '07 at Tolka, 3-2.

(Just doing Sligoman's job while he's away)

Nonsense. Sure ye're irrelevant to the first division at the moment. Ye're up, no one cares anymore. The interesting part is Mons/Lims/ourselves and seeing what happens!

I agree Lim, its a mess which reflects badly on the organisation of football in this country. As delighted as I am that the decision has gone the right way it just doesn't feel right. Am hoping we put out a weaker team and concentrate on the league.

We're resting Cummins and Davin, so Pats should win this handily.
