Either Aertel have ballsed up again or there was some very strange refereeing going on at the Showgrounds:

Rovers were two up 8 minutes later when Turner confidently netted a penalty after Michael Devine was upended

RTE.ie preview of UCD vs Derry
Peter Hutton and Anthony Gorman take charge of Derry City for the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division trip to Belfield Park to face UCD following Pat Fenlon's resignation.

Greg O'Halloran was sent off away at Longford Town last Saturday night and misses out for Derry.

Elsewhere the management duo have a full squad to choose from and may opt to radically change things with Fenlon gone.

BBC preview
Peter Hutton, in temporary charge after Pat Fenlon's resignation, will be without injured quartet Gary Beckett, Sean Hargan, Ken Oman and Paddy McCourt.

Killian Brennan and Alan Moore are doubts while Greg O'Halloran is banned.

Hutton has only had one day's training since recovering from a virus which ruled him out of the draw in Longford.

"We're basically down to the bare bones and given the nature of the injuries and where we are short, it looks as though I will probably play," Hutton told BBC Sport.

That went out as bearla on Radio 1 too. No wonder the turnout was disappointing. Still, I suppose it's an honest mistake, and significantly better than the recent 'and tonight at Dalymount Park, Bohemians are playing, er, somebody'.

Errortel gave Harps 2 Limerick 0 as a result on friday night. My Dad discovered the truth on Sunday when I told him they'd scored a 3rd.

Turkey were drawing 0-0 in Bosnia and also leading 1-0 away to Greece according to errortel on Saturday. At the time they were 2-1 up on Bosnia and Greece were playing Hungary.

Mr A
05/06/2007, 11:27 AM
Ah- that would explain why Paddy Power initially paid out on 2-0 rather than 3-0!

I have for many many years thought Errortel was run by a bunch of incompetent fools.

Now I know different. They are merely mocking us.

UEFA, Sky and the BBC reckon Kazakstan drew 1-1 with Azerbaijan last night. Errortel are still giving Kazakstan a 2-1 win. The winner was scored by YANKOV. I assume they don't mean the Bulgarian midfield player.

Now I wish the bunch of yankers in Errortel would go and yank off.

Not aertel exactly- but I was stunned to see that while six one news today showed zero coverage from last night's matches they did find time to show footage from three premiership footballer getting married.

What a fooking joke.

:oTime to leave I think:) Don't know which is worse being caught by aertel or paying €110 a month for a broadband service that doesn't work in the rain.

Much more of this and I will be moving back to Athlone or at least somewhere that there is civilisation

Another possinle errortel on eleven-a-side regarding Douglas Hall and Cobh. I presume the match was played in Cobh as it's handier for both but it put Cobh as the home team and then said it was played at St. Colemans Park.

OK- tonight we had another score reversal in the Kilkenny Wexford match, and sendings off that only appeared at the very end.

Meanwhile, according to RTE, Harps and Kildare drew tonight- http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2007/0626/finnharps.html

Funny - Aertel says yez won 2-1.

I think Kildare got a goal back at the end; although it looked like a red card to most observers, it wasn't.

The thing about AERTEL is, they are only as good as the people who ring in the updates. If they don't ring in sendings off at the time, or speak clearly and loudly with loads of noise in the background, mistakes are going to happen.
