I think you may have misunderstood me!

I REALLY think that's a brilliant tongue-in-cheek headline.

The Scottish relegation playoff with nothing to play for is hardly riveting - there's no doubt the guy was just having a laugh!!!

Fair play to hiim it's kept me amused for the evening! :D

I thought the rivetting was a reference to the fact that some of the support for a certain Glasgow club originated in the shipyards  :D

Its a dublin conspiracy I tell ya. We are being handicapped this season in that every second goal doesn't count. But the third goal counts double

Various spelling mistakes in our goalscorers name last night, Fahrudin Kuduzovic. The main football page said Kubozovic and then when you went to the match report they had it spelt differently again.

Eh? 'Were' as in the past tense. Am I missing something? Shouldn't it have been 'are playing later'?

Would seem that our result v Ports will be struck out and us punished, for fielding inelligable players, according to this report on the eircom site... (http://home.eircom.net/content/irelandcom/breaking/10108440?view=EircomnetSport)

Denis Behan, John Flynn, Colin Healy, Gareth Farrelly all got on the scoresheeet but the free-for-all at Shamrock Park was spear-headed by Roy O'Donovan's hat-trick. :(

:D

As eircom are the league sponsors, this counts as an official match report and FIFA are entitled to take the appropriate action based on this information. Ridden Rock Solid again I'm afraid. :(

The UK edition of the Irish Times had, again, a massive victory for Limerick,

Apparently they beat Cobh Ramblers by 37 goals to 3 in the League Cup away from home

Although at least they didn't omit the eircom League page from the UK edition again (twice out of the last four Mondays) - why do ye think I buy the paper??? Not for English soccer when I can get that in any English paper at less than half the price of the Irish Times!!

http://rte.ie/sport/2007/0420/derrycity.htmlRTE probably have mistaken them for gypsies after one of their fans decided to go topless in front of our fans a few weeks ago:D.

Not an errortel one but Gerry O'Sullivan on Newstalk had an errortel day yesterday during the Eurcom League Hour (good show btw)

There is a Rovers fan working in Aertel actually!

Anyways, they had our game against Cobh down for Friday nite despite the fact we always play Cobh on a Sunday afternoon. So they changed it to Sunday but had 8pm kick off still. Oh well they fixed it now. Great to see Athlone play at Lissywoolen tho isnt it! :P
