Yeh read that yesterday. I got criticised before for giving the guy stick but now he's just clearly making stuff up to cover for him and his pal's poor journalism. Idiot
Tonights scores at halftime.
Cork City 1 Bohs 0 since 20 min or so.

On an entirely different matter, can someone explain to me why clubs blast music over the tannoy before a match, at half-time and on the whistle? Who listens to it?
You'll notice on Sky Sports when they have post match analysis from the ground up to 30-60 mins later that the music is still blaring over a totally empty ground.

Someone on aetel must be watching, halftime updated now with score at 24m, :D

Not Errortel but RTE radio 1 at lunchtime Friday previewing the night's games confidently said Cork City would be meeting Bohs in Dalymount - I found this a bit disconcerting, stuck as i was in traffic in Fermoy on my way to Turner's Cross

They had this wrote in the match report on our game last night:
Darren Mansaram helped Sligo claim a draw against St Pat's tonight. The heading of the page said Sligo Rovers 3-2 St. Patrick's Athletic and yet we claimed a draw:rolleyes:.
The've fixed it this morning though.

I do have sympathy for the guy complaining about the loud music. I was doing the commentary for local radio at the Athlone V Harps game on Friday night and was constantly in competition with the buckin' PA system.
At times I couldn't hear them on the other line when they rang for an update so I can sympathise with the guys calling aertel from places like Mel's where they have a bloody speaker blaring in yer ear from the press box

Surely they can just text Aertel now though? Whatever about a live radio update, you don't actually need the voice element of the report to update Aertel.

Derry have been credited the three points and jump back into second......
Maybe this will help sort out our fixture congestion:D

not EL but errortel gave Palace a 1-0 win over Hull in the English championship when the score was actually 1-1. Still wrong late saturday night.

Cuts down on fixture congestion though. Why play 2 games when one double game will do.

His comments are bizarre. Mostly good but then he ruins it by saying the league misses people like Seery:eek:
Another trick of errotel is that if they cant be arsed getting a result, e.g. the U21 League, they just delete it.

Not to mention "Alonso" scoring for Spain, when in fact it was Xavi. Easily confused between the Xabi and Xavi I'd imagine.

Which means that even UEFA misspell it!!

I'm surprised Today FM even know about football on this island. I don't know how many times this wek I have heard Michael McMullan rabbiting on about the great run of Bolton Wanderers in the build up to today's live coverage of some league in England.
Today FM's coverage makes Aertel look as good as Sky Sports

I love the fact that managers have come, managers have gone, teams have won, teams have lost, we've had great goals, saves, controversial red cards, goals and decisions, European rankings, court room drama, points deductions, unjury time goals, bankrupcies, takeovers and mergers, great rivalries and debates all season, and yet the one thread that has always managed to stay on the first page and hasn't slipped away like the others, is the Errortel Watch thread. :D
