Maybe he's not respected enough on the whole. Might have won if he was. Maybe you need a personality to be voted media personality of the year. We can all drive around, or not drive as is the case, and write what we think and blame who we want for not paying us to do it but I don't know of anyone else who would do it. So ya, you're right, he should have gotten the award for driving and complaining.

Some of AOB reports were good and if he just reported on games and not some of the tripe that goes around this town he would have been worth following, some of the personal stuff was crossing the line I still don't think barring him from grounds is fair.

Great honour for him, only one Limerick player on it.Maybe a reflection of the standard of player available to the int manager from the league.

I think a few players over looked, The standard is bad all round but for sure more than on player should have been selected but tough job for the manager results will tell.

AOB got a roasting off the fixtures secretary i see in his end of season report today
The lad is doing great work and is a credit to the league and he deserves any monetary rewards that comes his way in retribution for all his hard work

The letter is the end of season report by the LDMC Secretary not the Fixtures Secretary. Different guy.

How can the end of season report be issued on a public forum days before the clubs are due to see it ....for the first time...at where it should be issued......at the councils AGM.This is more of the farcical amateur approach this council continues to engage in,the report is vindictive in its language, what kind of a sec writes this kind of stuff, most of it is taken up with ;the so called reporter;what about the football?what about the councils conduct throughout the season,no detail on anything...joke.

The report was issued to the secretaries of every club in the league along with financial reports and other information. That's the way it is supposed to be done. They can then be discussed at the AGM.
The fact it was then posted online is out of the LDMC's control.

seems like boro will be the team to beat again this season........coughlan, connery, fish mcnamara, and two internationals from clare are supposed to be joining....be interesting to see how the two lads keep everyone happy because they had a big enough squad last year and with these names being mentioned surely 3/4 will go....

wouldnt be surprised if that was true.....going by the reports out the county before he came in he was supposed to be a serious player but never really did anything imo....maybe it was that fact he was with regional and their season is normally over by the end of january.....

by all accounts albert is back in charge at carew bu the question id ask is was he ever gone because it looked to me that he was still calling the shots up there last season......ray lynch from broadford is taking over regional this season so be interesting to see how he gets on out there......yeah heard that about ocallaghan and i think that big centre mid keeley is going to the view aswell

I don't see why the boro are so insistent in getting a new keeper every season when the one they had for ten yrs ( glasheen ) was more than good enough, consistent and better than the balla keeper mentioned and the one they had last season. Class keeper on his day.

think he followed braddish to prospect but he never let the boro down when i saw them play maybe he just wants to play with his friends and i suppose you cant knock a fella for doing that.....

Prospect have a strong side with the bulk of it being ex-premier. Not really a surprise to see them beat Fairview in a friendly. Especially if Fairview had a lot of new players playing.

prospect would be well able to hold their own in premier considering some of the teams up there already.......dropped alot of silly points throughout the season but infairness it was braddish first year in charge......reckon theyll walk the league this year suppose it all depends on what players the dines bring in aswell

Can I ask, how did Nenagh come to leave their league lads or how did this come about ?
Treaty Gooner
17/07/2017, 9:47 PM
Maybe a Nenagh man could shed more light on this but from what I've seen, they won a billion leagues in a row in North Tipp and asked to move (back?) into Limerick to become more competitive in a stronger league.

by right they should have started in the bottom league like everyone else but i suppose only some club have to follow rules while others just make up their own.......

Nenagh had 3 teams entered so how would you go about putting 3 teams at the bottom? I also dont think it would of been fair on other teams putting Nenagh A team into a league any lower than 1A considering how well they won that division.

Boro have huge budget to help them along , they are worth a punt for the fai a big club in fairness and they put a lot of effort into club house and ground, pike and nenagh will be behind them this year.
